I had some of the best chinese food in world being from Chicago... and Eastside ranks with the best of them. I ordered the large special egg foo young and the large special fried rice... It was so good I didn't even take a picture. Full of meat and gravy for the egg foo Yung was good too. You know every chinese place can't make that gravy right! Eastside's was bomb 💣 I gotta let you know it's in the hood, east st. Louis at its finest. Not many parking spots, you gotta park on the side street, the vestibule where you order is small too. But the whole experience is worth it to get some good chinese food, Trust me you won't be disappointed

I don’t wanna be that person but if you’re like a picky person then you probably wouldn’t like the texture of the rice here. I got ham fried rice, a large box and uh the texture is terrible but it tastes fine enough for me to swallow but the texture is awful lmao, but I’m just that picky of a person. But I was high when I went and the customer service was pretty nice, it was a nice environment lmao. Bad texture tho 😂

Mannnnn look I'm from St Louis and we have several great rice houses. We moved to Bellville in 2019. All the rice houses near me are trash! A coworker told me about this place and I ordered chicken wings, St Paul with cheese and special fried rice and it hit so hard and reminded me of home and some. We ordered 2 days later for our family and let me tell you their crab Rangoon a little skeet but the flavor... BOMB! I COULDNT even finish tasting all my food before writing this. Omg the duck fried rice FIRE! YEP we will be making that 22 min drive to pick up. I also love the diversity of the staff! They were NOT RUDE at all. The guy who took my order over the phone 12/17 at exactly 1pm (yeah we had our alarm set) when they opened was very pleasant. I'm...

This is Great food and wonderful staff that help you in any way they can. The Sandwiches here are great and The People around the area are beautiful people, The front is small and it gets busy because The food is good. They Are Quick and effective and efficient at getting you your food, I would recommend stopping by for a great meal. And I respect the Families that Come here and Get Food to feed they're families. Let's start with the most Important part... THIS. IS. THE. NEW. ORANGE RICE HOUSE! If you know, you know. 😏

The food is always fresh and flavorful and this time was no exception. I had the special fried rice with added ingredients like a fried egg and extra green and white onion and topped it off with gravy, and my palate rejoi ed at the familiar flavors reintroduced to me. 🤤

My wife ordered the Eastside Fried Rice and she was beyond pleased with the additional meat and peppers added to her box. 😋

The place is a family favorite, always buzzing with people from both sides of the arch. If you're looking for an experience with hood...
