Stopped here to get some ice cream/dessert. I decided to get a caramel swirl milkshake and figured it would be good to get some food with it so I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich on Texas toast. Sandwich was decent and the shake was great. My issue is the timing of it all. For some reason, my grilled cheese sandwich was done, but the milkshake was not made yet and so by the time I got my shake, I was done with the sandwich which kind of destroyed the point of getting the sandwich. The people running it are very nice and I love what they did with the property here. You can see a big frog shaped/designed boulder from the road while passing through and once you get back there, you realize there’s actually quite a bit to it. There’s an area for little kids to play, which is great. Honestly, other than the timing of the food and drink, this place hit the marks properly.

10.8.22 Sometimes you drive by and just have to stop. This is that spot. What a fun gem, great for the entire family. When we went there was live music. There's a food stand with hamburgers, fries, lobster roll, ice cream, milkshakes, etc. and outdoor seating, an area for the little ones to play, an antique shop/display store. And best of all, a huge frog 🐸 for those of us who love random pictures. Love this place.

It is half way between my sister and I, so finally after years of driving by - we just met there for the kids to play. We had a burger, kids tenders, ice tea, ice cream, and fried pickles. Everything was food, service was great and friendly, and there was live music. We really went to take advantage of the play area which had lots to keep the kids entertained while we enjoyed the food and forest atmosphere.

Went on Mother’s day, beautiful weather, sparse crowd, poor meal. Ordered freshly fried pickles, freshly made moz stixs, 2 fresh fish and chip dinners, homemade NE chowdah, 1/2 doz clam cakes, bacon burger with fries, 4 sodas=$81 Ours was the only meal being cooked at the time, they sent out 5 of the 6 cakes after it sat on the counter for 7 mins. They were large and hot but we spent a fair amount of time hunting for the solitary sliver of clam in each one. After about 20 minutes the rest of our food appeared. I bit into the mammoth mozzarella stick but it was partially frozen still in the middle. I took a sip of the chowder but the consistency was that of a slippery gelatinous slurry. The kids loved the fried pickles however their cheeseburger was bland and dry and the oversized bun had been left outside for awhile and a bit leathery. The fried fish was good but the cold french fries underneath it were another let down. They redropped the partially frozen mozz stix until all the chesse burst out and delivered hot battered tubes in their place. The location is nice, the live music was unique, but service and food...

We had a fantastic experience at the Frog Rock Summer Shack! The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and quick to help — it was a pleasure talking with them. Our order was handled perfectly and came out in no time. We tried several flavors of ice cream, and every single one was absolutely delicious.

The grounds have a really eclectic and fun vibe that adds to the charm — it's a great place to relax and enjoy a treat. Very family-friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely...
