I love their bbq and sauce. I've eaten there for years. I've noticed the jumbo bbq has gotten less bbq on the sandwich for the price. Food is good but I have a local bbq place in my town, (Trolingers in Paris, TN) that food drastically is cheaper and alot more for your money. I hate to say it. But this may be my last time to eat here. 2 reg bbqs,1 jumbo,two small snack size bbq chips, and a bottle drink was $24.00. The sandwiches are just really small for $5.50 range average. Is it covid related? Idk. Hasn't driven my local bbqs price that high. I can get a whole bbq plate for price of their sandwich. Baked beans,slaw and potato salad included. It's over $10 for plate here with probably just 2 sides. Dont out price your customer base. In the past I've also heard alot of different employees complaining to each other about how they are treated by the owner. I've kept that to myself for years but rarely do you see someone happy and smiling working there. Honestly, I will say it's been different people working and complaining each time. He has never been there working ever, the times I've been. Seen him smoking on smoker few times outback. Like I said food was good, but prices and smaller portions have sent me packing. Wife, who never complains about a small bbq, just said hardly any bbq on sandwich. She does not like alot of any meat on her sandwich. So you can see how bad our experience was. I had some bites on my jumbo sandwich, where I got no meat in the bite. That has never happened before at any bbq joint. Change something or others will do the same as me and go somewhere else. I will pay well for good size and good tasting bbq. Yours, this visit, did not come close. UPDATE!!! Not only is the owner a loser but a jerk. I just read his reply to my review. What an idiot. Where in my review did I say I owned anything? I said we have a barbecue place in my town. What do you have a 2nd grade education! Yes I am hot under the collar. I gave your business a very honest review as I always do to every place I visit as well as every business. Call who you want, report what you want, but it would be in your utmost interest to correct the issues that I mentioned. No sir I’ve never worked for you nor do I know anyone by name who has. Only that I’ve heard how big of an * you are. Congratulations, after reading your response to constructive criticism, I totally agree with them. If you would re-read my review and take it into context it was meant to be in and it should have never been confused by a normal individual. So with this being said I definitely will never return and now I have an even better reason to never spend a dollar at your business again. There is no trolling goin on sir.
