Best Ruben in the PNW + great service & and classic cozy cafe vibe 🌲🥪

-Very clean -Fast service -Cozy & friendly

I originally came in to ask any locals where to find the David Kountz Grave and the Corral Springs wagon ruts. Unfortunately and surprisingly, the waitress said she knew virtually nothing about the Oregon Trail whatsoever… However she then brought over a brochure that had all the info I was looking for plus a whole lot more!

Since I was here I decided to grab a bite to eat. I asked the waitress what she recommended and she said the Ruben. I ordered the Ruben and it was the best Ruben I’ve ever had. All the ingredients were well balanced, the bread was flavorful with good texture and not overwhelming like most rye ruben’s. Plus it came with a side of chili included in the very reasonable price. Chilly was good for the area, but nothing to write home about. I’d probably come back in if I were ever in the Echo, OR area again. They live up to their 200+ reviews with an average of 4.7/5...

With the reviews that we read and the recommendations of the manager at the rv park we were staying at ,we were looking forward to trying this small cafe. My husband and I love finding places like this. We were disappointed in the lack of service and the food we had. We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes b4 it opened and watched the server go into the restaurant. When we went into the restaurant we were barely greeted. It was obvious to us that the server wasn't ready. My husband got coffee and he said it tasted like it was from the day before and it wasn't even hot. Luckily it was I included with his meal. When we received our meal it wasn't hot. Other customers came in the meantime. She never came back to see how everything was. Server was very unorganized. Food and portion not worth the price. We will...

Husband and I stopped through in the middle of a long road trip to grab a bite (couldn't take one more fast food meal!).

Service was 10/5, outstanding. Friendly, happy, jovial, and exceptionally kind. Greeted us as though we'd been best friends for years.

Loss of 1 star comes primarily due to the swarm of flies that wouldn't leave us alone the entire time we were eating (seriously, I was swatting them away from my face and my food between every bite), and the fries didn't have any crisp to them. They were a bit soggy.

Also, just a heads up to people passing by -- this is a very in-your-face conservative place. This has absolutely nothing to do with the loss of a star (I didn't care), but just a warning for those who care about masks or pro-choice or anything. This place doesn't make their political stance a...

My boyfriend and I live in Echo so we eat here all the time and we love it!!! The food is always amazing, the waiter puts on a good show and gave my boyfriend and I 2 cherries eat for our shakes because he knows I steak his lmao and the cook always brings us our food. It's so homey and comfortable in there. Their bathroom is cute as hell and the high schoolers are always coming in for Italian sodas! Ps. Best fries ever. I recommend the Pig burger and the Mushroom swiss.

Outstanding for yummy food, but especially the service. Warm, friendly, patient. My wife, three girls and I were the only ones in on Thursday at 8am...and once he took our order we noticed something, the music came on... he went and turned Disney radio on. So thoughtful. They loved it. They started singing songs from The Lion King, Zootopia, and Frozen. Fast service. Good staple breakfast food. Tries to cater to allergies.
