A friend recommended the restaurant and we were excited to try somewhere new. The building smells like a Chinese buffet when you walk in- not terrible, just odd. The chips and salsa taste store bought but were the highlight of the meal. The beef had an off smell and taste. Whoever cooked the Juan Colorado has clearly burnt it and just used the top as well. If you've ever burnt soup and tried to salvage the rest, you know what I mean. Rice was almost as white as I am, beans were bland but decent. Cheese dip was extremely lumpy? I'm not sure what went wrong there. The building is in a cute little strip though. Food did arrive decently quick, we didn't try any margaritas. Prices are average for local Mexican food.

ā€œJustinoā€ Tacos are next- level delicious! The steak is smoky and tender, the chicken is juicy and flavorful, and both wrapped in a soft, warm flour tortilla. The fresh pico adds the perfect zesty kick, and that cheese dip ? 🤤Pure, creamy magic! Every bite is a perfect balance of savory, cheesy and fresh flavors! If you’re craving top-tier tacos, ā€œJustinoā€ is THE one! šŸŒ®šŸ”„ 10/10

So glad my family and I came here for lunch. We were welcomed in and given our table, no need to wait. Food was by far the most fresh and authentic I have been able to find in Alabama. Appetizers, margaritas and every meal was on point! For desert we had flan and it was perfect!! Can't wait to go visit my family again so we can stop by for lunch again

My daughter and I stopped here for lunch today. When we first walked in it had a foul odor. Waited a bit to be seated. They got our drink order and food order pretty quickly as there was not alot of people in there. We shared the lunch special that contained one enchilada, one taco, rice and beans. When the food came it had a weird smell as well. We tried the beef and it was horrible. It smelled like it was spoiled and tasted the same. We took one bite and decided we were not eating the rest. We did eat some of the rice and beans. They were okay. When the servers were getting our drink order and food order they almost did it in passing by our table so I didn't feel that approaching them about our meal would help. Probably should have but I figured they would see our full plates and put two and two together. We walked up to the cash stand to pay and the lady didn't ask us how our meal was only went on and on about how they are having the restaurant cleaned. Which I was glad to hear for their sake. It smelled like it could use one. This was my second time back and seeing as how my first experience was similar I won't...

I really enjoyed our meal here. We got tamales, nachos, flautas, tacos, and enchiladas. I had the Green Chile chicken enchiladas and they were some of the best I’ve had. Unfortunately the chicken in them gave my toddler and I food poisoning. The only thing she ate from our dinner was a few pieces of chicken from my enchiladas, so I know that’s what it was. My husband did not have any chicken in his food and he was fine. So sad about this. Delicious but don’t feel comfortable trying them again after that. I was sick all day the next day on my birthday. šŸ˜” (Visit was on 2/24 and symptoms...
