Downriver Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Ecorse

Horrible horrible Let me start by saying this was my second time there on a Wednesday and my 3rd since under new management. The week prior the food was not as bad but the darkskinned waitess/barmaid had/has a terrible attitude and she messed up my order the first night and had an attitude when I mentioned it. I ordered topshelf long Island, I had 4 with a very slight buzz, although I wasn't paying I wasn't wasting no one else's money so I stop drinking.

Now, last night first thing first, the liquor in the bottles is not what you pay for, it taste like Well Liquor. I drink topshelf for the most part. However, I decided to order Titos straight just to see. I even tried to go with the flow but I had an instant headache. I had to take a stanback right then and there. The other thing was I had to send my food back because not only was it salty but my catfish nuggets we dark as me on the outside and inside. That mean they were not properly defrosted and the grease was old. To add insult to injury the Chic with the blonde hair and big eyes as I'm walking up to the bar with my food tells some other customers she don't like me. So, I politely addressed her statement by saying yes you probably don't because you can not serve me anything at these prices...

Honestly, that will be my last time there. Poor customer service, poor food and drinks. I don't need a third experience like that. Not to mention the prices are too high especially because you do not get what you pay for.

The food is the bomb!!! Salmon bites seasoned to perfection. The best chicken Alfredo I had in a very long time. That downriver sauce for the chicken is everything. They lamb chops were delicious, but I wish they would ask how u want them, as they were overbooked which made them a little tough. They were still delicious. The customer service was excellent.My only complaint was the drinks were not strong. They were watered down a bit. I definately will be going back that for...
