I ordered 2 plates. 1 had mixed greens, Mac and cheese, meatloaf while the other one had baked chicken wings, Mac and cheese, candied yams. No cornbread or roll was included. Beverages apparently were extra as I was not offered one with meals. The meatloaf had an excellent flavor except that it wasn't cooked thoroughly as I saw pink meat in places. The greens had no flavor and the Mac and cheese lacked taste/seasoning also. The yams were not sweet and the baked chicken was white (undercooked) and no seasoning. I also ordered 6 lemon pepper wings and asked that they be cooked extra hard....yet they were not...had to go home and finish cooking them along with the baked wings. First and last time...
   Read moreThis place is great. We, like others, found it online while on a road trip. We wanted home cooking as we are done spending money on chain restaurants. The person that gave this place 1 star is a dummy. The chicken was cooked perfectly. I think that that reviewer probably grew up on chain restaurants and only knows over-salted/ over-cooked food.
I liked that we picked whatever we wanted and weren't restricted to "meat and 2 sides". We tried a little of everything. We said we were from out of town and they may have made an exception. Regardless, we loved everything we ate.
