Subway — Restaurant in Effingham

The restaurant was clean! You walk in the door, and you are able to smell the wonderful aroma of bread! My first stop was the bathroom, and it was clean and fresh smelling. There weren't any issues for customers. The staff were friendly and helpful! At the time of my arrival, the store was being slammed in a rush, but the staff kept the restaurant running smoothly! None of the tables showed obvious need of being cleaned as they had very few crumbs anywhere! As soon as the rush was over, one employee, Max, came out to the dining room and cleaned the tables again! THAT, my friends, is what customer service looks like! I have complained about other restaurants not keeping a clean dining area, but Subway...

I stopped here for lunch while traveling for work The first thing I noticed was how the restaurant is very clean, the line was huge but the only other option was mcdonalds so I expected to wait a while. However, the three workers got through very quickly and worked well together. Each employee was upbeat and energetic, spoke clearly, was helpful, and smiled. This is not something I see a lot especially younger people in my city anyway. The bread and veggies were fresh and the whole prep area looked very clean. Overall, great experience and I will be stopping here again the next time I travel...

Poorest customer service ever. There were a few sets of customers ahead of me. I watched as two young women took orders and made sandwiches, then checked the customers out after their sandwiches were made. At my turn, they made my sandwiches, then left me standing at the register while they started making the next customers‘ sandwiches. I waited for a while, expecting to be able to pay and leave. It ended up that I left with no sandwiches. And I am glad because my experience with the wonderful people at the Dairy Queen up the road...
