Walt's Original Primo Pizza — Restaurant in Egg Harbor Township

Wow, I always love Walt's primo pizza. The phone service girls are so kind, the food is wonderful and customer service is always great. It seems Like they stepped up their game even more. Best Italian hoagie, we have had from them , EVER. Cheesesteak was awesome, even though , I am a meat hound, and always want more meat, but the steaks are great. Anyway... the real reason that I order is the customer service, Scott is the best delivery man that we have encountered. He is kind, cordial, intelligent, sweet, takes care of all customers and their pets alike. We ordered tonight, 6/27, and thought i might see Scott. Well , another driver pulled up, and , he is just as awesome. His name was Mike, and he did not rush, he was adorable, professional, kind, and just as wonderful as the rest of the Primo emplyoyees. I can order good food just about anywhere in this area, but I always order Primo, because of the kindness and Amazing attitude of the staff. I worked in customer service jobs forever, you can teach the mechanics of a job to anyone, but you cannot teach nice. Bravo Primo, you always hire the BEST,...

His pizza and sauce is like my grandmom’s and I told Walt when he used to be in the Somers Pt store. Everything is well made and fresh and good. He even has good sodas. I love Sicilian pizza and his is excellent. All his pizza is excellent but his white pizza is so good and I think it must cost a lot to make it, so his profit on it is tight but it could be in a restaurant with high end pizza menus. His staff is well trained and so pleasant and know their menu. Do you see how nice chick filet staff is, well Walt must have someone teach his staff like that. I see how busy his store is. Walt was always so nice to me and was extra nice to my clients from the Arc when I’d bring them in as a special occasion. He deserves to do extremely well and I hope that if he does ever retire that the people who take over can carry on his food...

Their spaghetti sauce is pretty good. But, warning: For takeout spaghetti or any pasta where you want a little cup of grated parmesan cheese on the side, THIS IS FORBIDDEN. They require you to get this nasty "shaved" parmesan instead. They do carry grated parm and it's in the shaker bottles on the tables in the dining room (along with the oregano, etc.), but it's for pizza ONLY. I can attest to this, because I work at a place that has been ordering lunch from Primo's weekly for at least 3 years, probably more. I enjoy their spaghetti, but I like to have grated parm with it...since they can't send that for takeout, and can only send the nasty shaved stuff (which goes straight in the trash)...I usually choose to get a meatball sub instead.
