Happy Hour Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Elba Township

This little bar has come a long way in the 20 years since the last time I visited. Not only is it non smoking (due to state law) but it is very clean, brighter and offers more seating. The food is really good, had a burger and fries and enjoyed every bite. I didn't expect a modern jukebox there, yet there is one! The best part is that the bar you sit at is still the same bar I remember from 30-40 years ago and its still beautiful and holds so many memories! If you think about all the locals who bellied up to that bar through the decades to have a laugh with others, drown their sorrows or catch a quick bite, that bar could tell stories! My first time here tonight and I have to say I'm seriously impressed and will be back. The bartender Calvin (sp?) was phenomenal. He handled a packed bar alone. The food was beyond perfect and not what I'd expect out of a hole in the wall Tiny place. Overall seriously impressed. The cheesy garlic bread was spot on, the burger was perfect, the quesdilla was crisp and loaded and the drinks were on point. 100%...

My work brings me to this area ever so often. I get to make the appointments and I make sure to set them up for Tuesday's so that I can stop here for their taco Tuesdays.
