Food We savored a delightful lunch featuring a BLT with fries and a hamburger steak accompanied by fresh vegetables. Both meals were prepared quickly and arrived fresh. Despite the bustling crowd during our visit, the staff ensured that every group received attentive service. Our BLT was crispy, fresh, and bursting with flavor, perfectly paired with shoestring fries. The hamburger steak tasted homemade, and the green beans and butterbeans were seasoned and cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are generous for the price, and the variety is unbeatable.

Service The waitstaff demonstrated excellent knowledge of the menu and were familiar with regular customers, greeting everyone as they entered. They were friendly and helpful in assisting us with our meal selections.

Atmosphere This establishment never fails to impress; it has a charming ambiance that makes each visit enjoyable. The tables are consistently clean and readily available, which is particularly accommodating for elderly guests who may not be able to wait long. While on vacation, my grandson and I stopped by Anne's Comfort Kitchen as suggested by family member. The food was very good and presented well but there was a problem. Someone in the back was constantly yelling and berating fellow employees. It was quiet alarming especially since my grandson was present. I simply figured someone was having a bad day, it happens. On the way back from vacation, because the food was so good, we stopped again. Surprisingly, the same person was again yelling at the employees. It was loud enough that the entire dining area could hear the commotion. It was ridiculous and very uncalled for. Sorry Anne's, your food is great but the atmosphere left a lot to be desired, we won't be back. To the employees in the back, you don't have to tolerate that behavior from...

Delicious food, friendly service and very generous portions . I had the chicken salad plate and my husband had the Mississippi Pot Roast. My chicken salad serving was huge! ...& included a side of fruit, so I took home more than half of my chicken salad and I am still working on it (I had a few more bites for lunch today!). I tasted a bite of my husband's pot roast, and it was spicy, savory and super tasty! He finished it all! He loved the pot roast and was very complimentary of the potatoes and the butter beans.
