Perhaps it was a bad day, but gambled in this place and was highly disappointed. We ordered pozole, caldo de res, a burrito, taco & gordita.
The red salsa was by far my favorite thing of this entire overpriced meal ($63).
The caldo de res was provided in a 32oz styro cup, and the pozole is sold in a 64oz container. Sadly it was mostly weird pieces of meat (I think a broken down pigs foot), bone and maybe 1/2 a cup of hominy - we paid $20+. I’m sorry but not everyone likes gummy textures pieces of fat or skin. The burrito was fine - about the size of one you’d get at Taco Bell. The gordita was not fried - which is great if you’re not dining in, but doesn’t travel well (mine was sweaty & fell apart) and the taco- they used the smaller tortillas. We got exactly 3 salsas and each container was filled just barely half-way. The flavor, overall, was just ok for our family, but we probably wont be back. Too pricey for just okay. Best of luck to the owners, hopefully the feedback helps them make...
Read moreFirst time trying this place and was very pleased! The restaurant is very spacious and has plenty of tables for dining in. On top of that they also have a variety of ice cream bars for dessert😋 The owner was super kind and friendly. Order was ready within 15 minutes of it being placed. The salsas tasted very fresh and we will definitely be ordering from here again!!...
