Cooking food was more important to the owner Scott then addressing the issue about my son getting FIRST DEGREE BURNS at this place!!! Went to have a birthday lunch with my father and my 2 sons. I called ahead to see if they had a highchair for my 13 month old (knowing it was a tavern wanted to make sure they had one so we could eat comfortably). They said they had one high chair so I requested for them to save it that we would be heading over In About 15-20 min to have lunch. When we arrived I asked for the highchair and the waitress went to go get it while I stepped away to use the restroom I heard my baby screaming. I came running out the bathroom to see what happened and the highchair we recieved was scorching hot and my father did not know when he placed my son into it. I quickly grabbed my son out and felt his bottom and it was radiating lots of heat and so was the high chair. I had the waitress feel how hot it was and she agreed it was burning hot and pulled the highchair away. I looked at my sons skin he recieved 1st degree burns and I requested to talk to the owner. The waitress also informed me the highchair is usually kept in a shed but who ever used it last left it outside. Todays weather was sunny and 80 degrees. I stood there waiting to speak to the owner for at least 10 min while he was cooking, at this point I'm 9months pregnant holding a 23lbs child I did not have much patience. Mind you there were only one party in there 3-4 men. I asked why he wasn't coming and the waitress said he's cooking. First of all I said you have an injury to a baby from your equipment. My baby has first degree burns. It didn't matter to the owner at the time because he said he was cooking and everything is on a specific timer and if he stepped away he would have to throw the food out. Guess food being thrown away was more of a concern then a baby who recieved 1st degree burns from his high chair and incompetent staff. The lady who grabbed the highchair should have realized how hot it was. Very disappointed in staff and owner. Any kind of injury that happens should be...

So it took awhile for the blond bartender to get a drink order (not busy) and the drink came fast but she took off for 10 minutes I was ready to order when the drink came guess she wasn't! Then the food comes good food reasonably priced also best part of the visit I get bbq brisket sub and stk + chz to go and 1 whiskey get my bill its' $58 something I see a 2 nd drink and ask her to fix it well she came back and said she didn't know how it's a new system sorry just don't leave me a tip and dips never to return now my card was run for 15 $ more than I owed without tip for her I think it's important to tip because everyone's time and effort are worth something but even tho I had to go and confront her as she was avoiding me( bar did get busy) right after she said she didn't know how to cancel my charge and fix it but i should have been a priority to fix instead of it looking like your stealing from me legally by giving me no options never offered a food item or drink nothing never said anything but (what do you want me to do)I was angry inside but simply said well I planned on tipping you 20 % so give me the remaining money after your tip is taken out this still isn't in my benefit I was ignored and got slow service and left to go to her at the other bar and make her deal with this unacceptable situation in my opinion no very professional maybe I let her ruin the atmosphere for me but disappointed in the customer service not the food or ppl...

This place! Delicious! And the staff! So friendly! Stopped here on a whim because we happened to be in the area for a holiday light show. Checked out the menu and saw they had some enticing options plus a pretty robust kids menu. The place was pretty packed when we got there but is was only because a) it’s a pretty small place and b) there was a party of like 12 who had commandeered the majority of tables. But we found a seat and the wait staff was very friendly and happy to help get us situated. The kids had BLT’s and the Mac and cheese/ hot dog combo (both household classics) so they we very happy. We both got the specialty burgers. Mine was the Buffalo and my SO got the Maine Mess! The food came out pretty quickly! And it was a smorgasbord! The burgers were incredible! They were exactly the big, nearly unmanageable, juicy burgers you envision when you read their description on the menu. The flavors were all very well balanced and they came with a pickle and a heaping pile of your choice of fries, onion rings, sweet potato fries, etc. and all for only $12! I definitely feel like we got our monies worth. The great food combined with the excellent wait staff and the quaint unassuming atmosphere really made this place shine and stand out as a place that we will make a point to return to whenever we are in the area even though it’s about an hour from our home. @Nosh … you should grab a pen and...

Three of us were seated at 5pm, at one of several open tables. The waitress was initially pleasant, but seemed overwhelmed, which was odd given that the place wasn't very busy. When our food was brought, two of the orders were wrong. When the waitress came back to ask how everything was, we pointed out that one of the orders was correct, another was wrong, but good enough, and the third was really wrong. The waitress made no apology, and stated that, if we wanted her to, she could "talk to the chef and see if he can remake it." That was the last time we saw her, until we finally managed to flag her down so we could pay and leave. The burger in the attached photo was pretty good, despite the brisket being softer and fattier than the hamburger, and the bbq sauce tasting like ketchup. If you're not picky about getting what you actually ordered, or having polite waitstaff, and if you're looking to recreate the atmosphere of a noisy dinner at a children's birthday party, you'd probably like this place a lot.

Recently enjoyed 207 Tavern at a front row seat to fine food, service and hospitality. ---- snip ---- Stopped in again for Monday Night Football Patriots vs. Bills. Great seat, casual atmosphere and attentive staff. The Steak Bomb and Fried Cheese Curds were the best! ---- snip ---- Stop in. Check out their loaded regular menu or the BBQ offerings available. Freshly prepared food, comfortable dining experience and friendly service.

Bottom line: Good food and I would go back. I had the brisket, pretty darn good, super tender and seasoned well, creamy cole slaw with a slight sweetness. Cornbread also had a good flavor again with a hint of sweetness. Like I said I would go again. Additionally we were able to have the dog with us at the outdoor table. The only thing I didn't really care for was sitting outside with the busy road noise and no military discount.
