Pizza Palace — Restaurant in Elizabeth Township

Considering the name is Pizza Palace my nan our friend and I were looking for some tasty pizza, on top of that the sign said buffet everyday. This was false advertisement because the cashier said on Saturdays they don’t do buffets. The salad bar was open but it was minimal. We took a while to order because we didn’t think we would have to order from the menu. The cashier quickly grew impatient with us and went on his phone. We had questions about the menu items and asked for an explanation. My friend who is an older woman asked him to repeat his explanation and he said “I told you three times already”. I almost jumped out my seat when I heard this but figured the best response would be through this review. It’s not okay to be disrespectful to anybody but the fact that I was with two older women made it worse. The pizza tasted like frozen pizza I could get at the grocery store (the bad kind). The spaghetti and manocotti were good at initial tasting but the sauce ran out. The veggie tromboli was decent according to my nan. The garlic bread was average. So you make the wrong pizza for us , when we bring it to your attention your response is ohhh well can’t you eat the one I made? Umm well I asked for bacon you made a veggie pizza. Will your religion allow you to eat the pork one?? Not to mention it doesn’t matter , i should be served what I asked and paid for! Then I realized you charged $20 for a veggie pizza and a bacon pizza is $16 so you simply didn’t bother to refund the overcharge. I'm honestly upset that it took me until today to eat here. It's very close to my house but I think it suffers from sort of being in the middle of nowhere. I recommend that anyone visit this place. The pizza was delicious, the service excellent, and the atmosphere very classic. The pizza is very fairly priced, although the toppings can bump up the cost quick. I do understand because the ingredients are all great quality and taste. I will absolutely be visiting this...
