Yough Twister — Restaurant in Elizabeth Township

I've been going there since I was a little girl and it was called "The Tasty Freeze". Although I no longer live in PA, I stop by EVERY time I visit my family that still live in the area and I'm NEVER disappointed with the ice cream or the food. I've taken my children AND grandchildren many times over the years and will continue as long as they are around!! The ice cream is great and the prices are very reasonable. They have a good selection of quick bites, soft serve ice cream, frozen yogurt and even hard ice cream! I would give it 5 stars but this time when we arrived we had to search for an employee to take our order although they were clearly open! We waited 5 minutes then both my husband and I called out several times and yelled into the window with no response. When we were about to leave I decided to walk around to the back. Not the Yough Twister anymore, it's called "Big Twist" now. This will all be paraphrased based on memory. Sizes are now called big, bigger, & biggest, proportions are still hefty, price isn't horrible & the only thing I've noticed that they updated is they are over the top animal friendly now & they offer deals throughout the week. I dont like to leave bad reviews but I had to wait an hour today to get my food because somebody gave my order away to the wrong person then couldnt remember what i got after serving at least 15 other people.
