Giovanni's Pizza — Restaurant in Elizabeth

Not sure if they were having an off day or what. The workers acted like they didn't want to be there or how to run a restaurant. The prices were reasonable until i saw the the portion size and and thought I ordered from the kids menu. The order came out wrong, I had the Philly steak sub with no onions and guess what...it had onions. After seeing the ingredients I could understand why it did, they were the frozen onion and pepper mix. A local mom and pop shop should use better ingredients to keep their customer base happy. The other complaint was the BLT sub. When it was ordered they were told no onion or cheese. First off i have NEVER heard of a BLT coming with either...the ingredients are in the name! Love the pizza and make the trip up to Elizabeth just for it. But as for today the service was absolutely terrible. Aside from the person taking the order when we called, refusing to tell us how long the wait was and hanging up on us. We get there and find out though the very rude short blonde girl in pj pants that the internet is down. That's fine, we go to the ATM. Then go back, once again only rude to us. Giovanni’s?! More like gioNAHni’s!!! The sub made my husband have explosive poops in the toilet. They were set off like a nuclear bomb. I didn’t find the icectwm very inclusive as my grandson is lactose intolerant. The staff was horrible!!! They told my son to take his filthy greasy grippers (meaning his toes. He was barefoot) out of here. This hurt my son as he has been a really big Tarzan fan since he was 12 hours old. He swings on vines a lot. Anyhow, i don’t like this place. DOBT COME TO GIOVANNIS....
