Hattie Jo’s Coffee House — Restaurant in Ellsworth

I have been searching far and wide for the best baked goods within my area and out of all the bakeries and coffee shops from Hutch, Lindsborg, Salina, to Ellsworth Hattie Jo’s is the #1 winner. No one comes close to their baked goods. I usually get the lemon poppy seed muffin and just from that…wow. Absolutely wow. I usually get a simple cappuccino or a latte and chefs kiss it’s always smooth and perfect, I don’t need sugar!

Today I got a chai pie, and yes it’s home made! Pumpkin Chai Latte? Yeah…they executed this flavor perfectly and the fact that it’s home made makes this drink more enjoyable.

We needed a place to stop halfway on vacation so we picked an Airbnb in Ellsworth. Based off of reviews, we decided to hit up Hattie Jo’s for breakfast and we were NOT disappointed! Everything we had was amazing. Cinnamon roll, biscuits and gravy, avocado toast, brown sugar oat milk latte, and honey lavender latte. Seriously, all of it was fantastic! We really wish we lived closer or even came through here more often, but unfortunately we don’t. However, if we ever find ourselves anywhere close to here again, we’ll make the stop. Highly recommend anyone to give Hattie Jo’s a try. They were super friendly while we were there too....

Very disappointed!!!! I called a week ago to order a dozen cinnamon rolls to be delivered to my brother for his birthday from 9:00-9:30 a.m. on April 15. Was assured they would be delivered, however their arrival was not until 11:45 a.m. way past coffee break time etc. Nothing was said that the delivery person does not come in until 11:00 or I would have not ordered them. Not to mention that the delivery location was 1 1/2 blocks from their location. Someone can't slip over in 5-10 minutes to deliver the cinnamon rolls. I would not use this establishment ever. They are not true to their word. Trudy...
