This was a nice place with great food options, but one of the staff members taking food orders was very rude and may have spit in my wife's coffee. She ordered an iced coffee, and they gave her a small coffee cup with ice. When she went to ask about the difference between the iced coffee and the regular coffee (it's a 2 dollar difference), the staff member got annoyed and tried to say that she explained it (she didn't) and got a manager to correct the transaction (apparently it was supposed to beba larger espresso iced coffee, but they didn't make that). The manager explained he would have to cancel the ticket and re-enter everything we ordered (we were with family and had a very large order) but then instead he said to make it without charging it. We added money to the tip jar to cover it. We were all in a great mood, and asking about coffee shouldn't be a big deal, but it seemed to really bother the person we spoke to. The staff member made the new coffee while talking to someone from the kitchen. After a few minutes she took the cup around the corner out of view and came back seconds later, handed my wife her coffee without making eye contact and left without saying a word. Then the person she had spoken to while making the coffee kept staring at my wife from the kitchen during our meal. After we ate, we asked them about it and explained our concern. My wife was calmly talking to her, just trying to find out why a simple question/misunderstanding was met with such frustration and disrespect, and in the middle of the first sentence, she turned around and took a few steps away to call someone from the kitchen - again, a rude action. The same person she spoke to while making the coffee came, and she said he was a manager (different man than the original manager who helped at the register). He was much more polite but did not help at all. He covered for the rude staff member, said he would have a talk with her, and offered to top off the coffee. If our issue was the rude staff member and we were concerned she spit in her drink, why would we want a top off? We did not cause a problem, didn't make a scene, were very polite, yet were treated like an inconvenience from the start. This incident was unprovoked and was handled poorly. I would not come back here, and would tell everyone...
Read more5 of us stopped in around 4 PM and ordered wings and the women dinners, along with drinks. We were told 20 minutes. After an hour I asked how much longer and was told soon. 2 other families ordered food and drinks after us and an hour later no food was delivered to them. An hour & half I asked again and was told again soon. Meanwhile in the bar wings were flowing like the beer. I asked for my money back. ( we put money in tip jar for the drinks and food & left tips in jar. It wasnt the guy waiting on us fault) Over a week later I still havent been refunded my money on my card! I'm giving it another week and if no refund I'll go back with my receipt and I'll update this. Looks like if you want wings you'd be best served in bar area not the restaurant area. To Owner: How can you improve? Maybe invest in more fryers! When I asked about our orders we were told you only have one fryer? Happy hour with wing specials and only one fryer? And we watched bar patrons get food before all of us in the restaurant area! Especially since we got there early and very few were in bar until later when others showed up filling bar. Waiter should have told us the bar area gets food before those in restaurant area. My Grandson & his friends jump there. We have been coming since the 90's as my sister managed an area RV park who recommends it as a stop for snowbirds. We've eaten lunch many times but first time for dinner. It was bad enough not getting our food but now not even my refund! When we left very few people were still in bar and the other two families still had not received their food! Ironic talking with the two other families they didnt even order wings. But that was what I was told what was taking so long when I asked for refund that cooks only had one fryer. We enjoy visiting here but don't recommend around...
Read moreI have to update this review. We’ve been here several times over the past few years and every time was very pleasant. I’m not sure what, but it seems that something has changed. The in-laws are in town so we took them for lunch. Of the 4 of us ,only 1 got the food we ordered. It took them a couple of try’s to get it right and they didn’t seem that concerned about it. The service was slow, as well. When we all finally did get the correct food it wasn’t that great. Very disappointing. It will be a while before we try again.
Original review: I really liked this place. I think the restaurant is only open until 11 am but you can still order food in the bar. We got there around noon, on a Tuesday. The lady working the bar was super nice. I just had their hotdog, which was really good, and the wife had a burger that she said was one of the best she’s had. The French fries were ok, but not great. I opted for potato salad, instead of fries, and it was really good. They have a decent selection of beer and it was nice and cold. The service was excellent. We are looking forward to...
