Denny's — Restaurant in Eloy

We visited the Denny’s, in Eloy, AZ #8579, this morning (2/24/24) for breakfast and were very disappointed. When the server brought the food to the table, the container that holds the jelly was not only sitting on my husband’s plate, but also directly touching his food (the plate w/the omelet). This is very unsanitary- I’m certain the container isn’t cleaned after each patron (the server knew it was wrong, she apologized as she set his plate down) The accuracy of the food ordered vs. what was received was way off. My Husband ordered the “Ultimate Omelet”- the omelet did not have cheese or any of the vegetables with the exception of tomato’s, which the omelet was overloaded with. He also ordered the hash-browns extra crispy- they were barely cooked. The toast was barely toasted, flimsy-floppy, over buttered. I ordered the Moon’s Over My Hammy Omelet, adding jalapeños and avocado- my omelet did not have any Swiss cheese, overloaded with jalapeños. The avocado, served on a separate bowl, looked to be not fresh and had a lot of peel on/in the bowl. Similar issues with my hash-browns and toast. There wasn’t an opportunity to have any of the issues addressed- the server didn’t return to the table until we were almost done eating and shortly after she dropped off the bill. Wasn’t greeted When a server was asked to help clean table I was asked to move When I refused I was given a rude look and a attitude and a very lazy sloppy attempt of cleaning the table I have to dry table with my own personal napkin While she ( fantashia ) was looking for ice cream for a shake a second waitress appeared When asked if she was going to be my waitress she was extremely rude and I asked if I could have service and she said they were really busy and even though I was waiting before the man I was told she didn’t know I was there and I could hold on a moment I said I’m just trying to get service and I sat down Once my waitresss came back I was told there’s no ices cream and I said ok and ordered club sand It was brought made very sloppy with the bottom of the barrel green tomatoe I was left with a to go silver ware and didn’t see her again til she came and asked if I wanted something else and threw the ticket on my table Didn’t even remove the dirty dish Extremely ruse and if I were her boss she would be fired along with the coworker that thinks being rude is cute , also I noticed a huge difference in treatment if you were black or Mexican but unfortunately I’m white . There were only a few people eating inside and although someone came out of the kitchen area and saw us waiting to be seated, we were dismissed and continued waiting for another ten minutes. After that is when someone finally came out and acknowledged us. Our server was friendly but absent and when I asked for more sugar for my coffee, Rob went next door to the convenient store that the restuarant is attached to and got sugar, salt, and pepper packets. After that is when I got given sugar from our server. She was good at remembering what we needed and after the sugar incident, our condiments came out to us quickly. The food was okay, Ive had better from Denny's. But at the end of our meal, Rob got to play, what I call, King Of The Claw! And this machine was cool! The toys aren't wedged in together so all you get to do is feed it your money. No,..this one is how it should be. He won me a Captain Marvel doll. 😘 The entrance is on the side where it's not lit real well at night, so dont go alone, but the front part where the entrance to the convenient store/gas station is, is lit very well and you can get to Denny's from that way also.
