Very slow, disorganized service on a busy Sunday. Live music was great. Drinks came out to the wrong people and threw everything off when we wanted to reorder. What we thought we got was wrong, so when we decided which one was best to reorder, it was the one we all agreed we didn't like. The server and bartender put it all on us. The bartender just said, "I just got here", instead of trying to help. Half the food was wrong and took forever to bring out, let alone correct and didn't come out at the same time. We wanted nachos with no cheese, which went to the wrong table before it came to us. When the server brought it to us, we said, "we didn't want cheese", and her reply was, "I know". Really? You knew and still brought it to us? One of us sat for 20 minutes without food while we all ate because she was brought the wrong burger. Staff were still argumentative after mixing our beers up. Three people drinking beer and they came out with 5, which is over-serving. That seems to have happened because I was simply trying to reiterate the 3 we already ordered and the 3 we now want, which was 6 beers, but we still got 5! Either way, it was wrong. They had to toss a burger and fries, order of nachos, and dump 2 beers, and gave us an extra beer we didn't want. 25 minutes after finishing drinks and food, one of us had to get up to ask for the check. 20 minutes later, one of us had to get up to give a card after watching 2 other cards get picked up. Our visit was a crapshoot, but we still paid for whatever they decided to charge us, tipped and left. There was little to no communication between the staff and nothing but attitude toward us, which didn't help fix anything. We're not snowbirds, but maybe they thought we were. If that's the case, that's your best clientele in the winter you're sloppily serving, and this kind of service might fly with the retired crowd, but with my 10 years of serving and my boyfriends 10 years of cooking in some of the top restaurants in Arizona, we know better. I'm sure, if this kind of service keeps up, the only customers will be...
Read moreWhat a fun little place on a Friday night! Not being from the area, my husband and I definitely stood out. So much so that when we first walked in an employee stopped us as the door to ask us if we made reservations cause they were full. Never in my life have I heard of making a reservation in a dive bar lol But once we were seated (kinda to that employees initial dismay I will say) it all made sense. There was a fantastic guy performing, Guitar Slinger. Appears he really packs the house! This is definitely a small town place with its local regulars. That being said, our experience was great. Our waitress was wonderful! She was attentive, friendly and very nice. When I say everyone in the place was there just to have a good time, is an understatement. Everyone danced and sang along with the Guitar Slinger. This is definitely a hidden gem. Bathrooms were clean. Food was good. Husband had the fish fry and I had the taco salad. We ate and drank all night, til they turned the lights on (at 9:00 haha) and our tab was shockingly small. It is majorly an older crowd but definitely a fun crowd. There was THE CUTEST older couple, that the bar has even given them their own custom table right by the dance floor. They danced to almost every song and had the biggest smiles on their faces the entire time. Have to admit, they were my favorite part of the night. If you ever find yourself in the area and need something to do, Tumbleweed Inn is a...
Read moreGreat place. Went for Karaoke and food with friends and family. We know a number of people there as the Casa Grande, Arizona City, Eloy area has a smaller/rural population and the Karaoke community travels to various locations in the region. Excellent Host and friendly Patrons. It is an older crowd but all are welcome.
As for the staff, great individuals and pretty fast service. They serve a variety of alcohol and non-alcohol drinks. The menu includes appetizers, burgers, salads, sandwiches, dogs, and a variety of other items. Food was served fresh and hot and our waitress came by to fill our sodas and drinks as needed.
The only thing that was confusing is that I ordered a hot link and fries and just wanted to add just chili to my fries. I thought it would just be an aditional charge to put it on my fries or charged as a side of Chili, A La Carte. I was told I could not add chili and that I would have to buy the Chili Cheese Fries as an Appetizer Item on the menu, which was the same price as the Hot Link and Fries meal. I ended up buying the Chili Cheese Fries as an Appetizer and getting the Hot Link Meal with the side salad.
If the Owner could clarify whether or not I can order Chili on the side or A La Carte, that would be great. If I recall, it was listed in A La Carte as a...
