Man, oh man! Am I glad we passed this place today. My dad and I were just taking a drive around. He was showing me some old historical sites in Jersey, and he said “oh wait before we go home you have to try this place.” So we pulled up to a little shack on the corner of the road, kind of in the middle of nowhere lol. I asked him what we were doing here, and he told me they have some of the best cheesesteaks in New Jersey. And let me tell you… He was not wrong! I cannot believe I did didn’t know about this place! But I’ll say one thing… I’m telling everyone I know. Just an out of the park delicious cheesesteak. They offer a lot more things, but this is what we got for the day. I need to start out by saying I had avoided this place with the previous owners as they only did cheesesteakes never an option for a chicken one but I understood, do what you know. I gave in when my husband said they have new owners, a sausage sandwich and they've remodeled. I don't know what I was thinkng I've wasted years not going.... omgosh AMAZING!! Their sauce is incredible, bread perfect, chewy, fresh and soft inside, great flavor of the sausage. I wanted the small but my husband convinced me into the large, YES we could have been content with the small but we split a large and I are every bite of my half. Stuffed but oh so happy! I moved to South Jersey in 1988 when I was 13. My father worked at the Salem nuclear plant and his shop would order from here a couple of times a week. He brought home a large cheese steak one night for dinner for the three of us and it was delicious. It was so large that we could only eat half of it. I moved around Jersey over the years but I always thought about how great their subs were. I moved back to the area and went there again recently and they haven't skipped a beat. Still the same kind, friendly owners, still the unbelievably large delicious sandwiches I remember.
