I was cruising down the interstate headed toward Branson and it was about noon time, about 11:30 am and my girlfriend, Linda, was scanning the restaurants in the area, tons of Bar-B-Que places but I was not in the mood. She spotted this little place on Hwy. 67 and the picture that was posted intrigued her, she wanted to go, and generally anything she wants to do, I go along with it. Pulled up and not a car to be found, which was kind of spooky because at that point in time, it was 11;50 am so I determined that we would have the place to ourself. When we entered, I was totally surprised. This restaurant we so "clean" that my teeth hurt just looking at it. This can't be real, so I made a quick inspection and it was for "real". Linda was already into the menu and she selected a plate and I okayed her selection for myself. About that time, which was a couple of minutes to Twelve, the locals came trooping in, in the matter of a few seconds, the place was crowded and the smell of good food was everywhere. We spent a few minutes acclaiming ourselves to the environment and seated ourselves and waited which was short in its duration and our food arrived. Everything was excellent, it is not every time that visit a place of like this and you hit the "jackpot". My advice to you, if you get the opportunity, go to this place and let these people work their "magic" on you with their all around good service so that you can be enthralled and mesmerized as we were. Will I return? Without a doubt, with a smile on my face and a bounce in my step, because I know what...
Read moreTalk about your small town staple! This place is the quintessential Mom and Pop type experience. From the road it reflects as a simple gas station, but once you enter the actual picture comes into focus. There are some essential items stocked on a few shelving units, but the smell of food, the tables, the sense of "I should probably look at the menu" takes control. 67 Gss And Grill is now, and has quickly become my new favorite place to make sure to stop, or even make a special trip to just for the food and people. It's definitely a local spot, but it's also situated fairly close to an I-30 (Emmet) exit, and is most certainly...
Read moreI've been a couple of times this week. It's a combo gas station and grill. They have a good variety on their menu and everything is made fresh. No frozen burger patties here. I had the bacon cheeseburger the first day with homemade onion rings and pinto beans. Terrific! Tonight I had the catfish and shrimp combo. Excellent! Service was top notch and the owner Linda wants to make sure you are happy. I would highly recommend lunch or dinner here. You won't be...
