The SWAMP — Restaurant in England

Would love to give it 10 stars to make up for the poor soul screaming 'people of color". As for my review.... OH MY GOD!!!! This will probably be the only place I ever eat at in England AR from now on. A buddy and I stopped here after a horrible day in Bayou Meto. His gumbo and gator basket was insanely good....and large quantity. My shrimp sandwich looked pretty bland, but it just was freaking good. I also had the gator dog (Chicago style I believe) to say this dog was excellent is a gross understatement. It was a bit more costly than I expected, but was worth every last penny I spent. I was looking forward to eating here. I was in the area and it is a catchy enough place as far as the restaurant itself looks and its name is catchy too. I ordered the half rack of ribs and to be absolutely honest they were the absolute worst ribs I have ever been presented with at a BBQ restaurant. I suspect the owner/chef tried to get rid of some old ribs he had hanging around and I looked like just the sap to pawn them off on. They were cold and they were flavorless, neither wet nor dry but cold and greasy like left over bacon grease. They may have won the battle by making me pay them a decent amount of money for a more or less gross meal but hopefully I won the war with...

We had eaten here once previously and it was ok food. However this last time we were headed out to go fishing at the lake. We picked up some fried oysters poboys and fries. We got out in the lake to eat the food and imagine our surprise when the oysters were burnt and no editable. It was really not satisfying eating just bread and fries as we had no other snacks. I tried calling them while we still out in the water and no one would pick up the phone so that we could rectify the issue of the bad food. We will not be back. It was a waste of money for food you have to throw in...
