Stop by Texas BBQ last night blew away by expectations. Everyone work in there with so friendly explain the menu very well Family Recipes to the homemade sausage from Sarasota you could get platters you can get brisket I mean the big talk with the chicken fried steak I had a pass on the chicken fried steak because I love barbecue so I had a big bladder you get three sides three meats I substituted for the Burton's in St Louis ribs cuz I like the St Louis ribs for phenomenal also had the brisket what was very moist and smoked and everything was slow smoke in the smoker in the back which was phenomenal smoker and never seen nothing like it also I had onion rings that were homemade so everything is homemade in this place so the work and the prep that goes into everything there takes a lot of work that's why they're only open 4 days a week so we both split the $39 Big 3 thing I substituted some of the sausage but I couldn't we couldn't finish it all I still have a whole nother meal there and so now we can start talking about all the homemade desserts they have key lime pie meringue pie I had to go with this caramel Turtle pecan pie we broke into that later on at night cuz I was so full and that was some of the best Turtle pecan pie I never had anything like it so I give it 5 Stars across the board that kept coming back checking on my meals first soda they buy second first soda I buy second soda was on them so if you're in the area I definitely recommend stopping in here if you like barbecue in the sauce was homemade I'm going to talk about the barbecue sauce that was homemade from Family Recipe like everything else in this...

Hands down, this is the best barbecue that I have ever had! The smell of smoke wafts through the air the moment you step out of your car and smacks you in the face when you open the door. The friendly greeting was backed up by genuinely hospitable service by the counter order taker (who I suspect was an owner). He offered his suggestions and guided us along the order journey to help us craft just the right order for each one in our party of 6. We ordered smoked brisket, pulled pork, baby back ribs, kielbasa, and chicken. Each meat was flavorful, tender and juicy with just the right amount of delicious smoke. The bbq sauce is a nice compliment to the pork and ribs, but an afterthought to the most glorious pencil thick sliced beef brisket ever to pass my lips. I had questioned myself time and time again about brisket as I have always found it to be dry and tough. Texas Best Barbecue restored my faith in brisket with their excellent smoke ring, unctuous mouthfeel and the result of the pull test; revealing that I had just had the best brisket of my life. Sadly, I am here visiting for just a few more days, but I will be back before I head home and hopefully I can convince them to open a location nearby. Visited while in Englewood where we vacation regularly. Having just been to Austin, Tx a few weeks prior and had some of the best BBQ ever experienced, just had to give this place a try when we found out about it (from a card at another favorite, Simply Yum Yum Bakery). The experience was far more than we could have ever hoped for, the owner, family, and other staff were all warm and welcoming and helped us muddle though the choices to get just what we wanted. All of the selections were perfect and just as we had come to expect in TX, right down to the Butcher paper serving platters. Oh and that Texas Spud Loaded Potato!! Wow, had to take half of it home, it was truly huge and loaded like no spud ever witnessed before! We had a wonderful time conversing with the owners while devouring the most absolutely authentic TX BBQ, felt like we had been instantly transported back to that great state again.. As we told them on our way out, we had not had any BBQ since we had been to TX a few weeks before and still hadn't had any outside of TX! maybe they should consider this place sovereign...
