EDIT: I came here for a graduation dinner because the first time I visited, everything was amazing we loved the food and the atmosphere. Wanting to recreate that experience, I called ahead to confirm they had enough staff to accommodate a party of 10. They said they did, so I made a reservation.

When we arrived, they hadn’t prepared a table for us. Instead, they seated us in the back near the band doing a sound check which might’ve been fun under different circumstances, but not when you’re trying to have conversations during a celebratory dinner. I had specifically requested to be seated in the main room, so that was disappointing.

We were the first group in the restaurant when it opened, yet everyone who arrived after us received their food before we did. We ended up waiting 2 to 2.5 hours for our meals. I initially thought they were timing it so all the dishes came out together but they didn’t even do that.

To top it off, one of our guests opened a bottle of BBQ sauce and it exploded all over her food and clothes. As she was heading to the bathroom to clean up, the owner walked out of the women’s restroom (which felt a bit odd) and looked at her and simply said, “It happens.” No apology. No offer to help. Just… that. They did remake her steak, but by that point, after waiting so long and feeling pretty dismissed, we just decided to leave.

I understand that restaurants can have off nights but the lack of care and poor customer service was really disheartening, especially after such a great first visit. It was a real letdown for what should have been a special evening.

First time: This place was so cute!! Great hospitality! And it was a one women show for the night. She served and cooked! She did great and the food was delicious!! Great cedar...

Our First trip to this hidden Gem. We have owned a cabin in Brian Head for many years and had never heard of the Roadhouse BBQ until we did a search on google for great BBQ. It's just off the I-15 highway at the north end of Cedar City on the grounds of the Rustic Willow Glenn Resort. All we can say is this place exceeded all expectations. The restaurant sits in large beautiful park like setting absolutely non commercial. Restaurant is very realistic rustic with lots of things for your eyes to enjoy. Perfect for intimate or large party dining . The owner Brad Lark is the Pit Boss and makes some of the best BBQ we have tasted anywhere daily. I had the Pulled Pork and wife had the some of the most tender Baby Back Ribs ever. Both items were fantastic along with the choice of 2 sides each. Our server Felicia was top notch and answered any question we asked about the menu and the faciality . She also makes great cocktails. The Roadhouse has a very large stage inside a barn like structure with an outside large dancing area with plenty of seating and tables for dining. They have live music most dining evenings they are open. This is the best atmosphere and dinner we have ever had in Cedar City or the Brian Head area in 40 years. We live in Vegas and eat out a lot all over the world. We cant wait to return with friends to Road House BBQ on our next trip to Brian Head. This place is off the beaten path and well worth finding for anyone looking REAL PIT BBQ and a unique experience in dining and entertainment in Cedar. Thanks Chef Chase, Felicia and the Pit Master/Owner Brad Lark and rest of your team for making an evening we...

So we walk in right and we have a dog so they let us sit outside now that’s fair but what isn’t fair is how long we had to wait. They had us waiting for 15 minutes before they even asked us if we wanted waters or anything then I had to physically get up and walk to the front kiosk area And ask and put my order in not to mention the order itself. The place says it closes at 10 on Google. This is extremely misleading it does in fact close at 10 but the kitchen starts closing up at nine. I got there at 9:03, I get there and they’re like yeah all of our good food is gone, but here you can have a menu of some frozen things and some burgers so I’m like OK sure we sit down and I finally say this is enough I’m just gonna go up and place the order I go up. I place the order for the mozzarella sticks $10 for mozzarella sticks that aren’t good they arrive like we wait for half an hour. They finally arrive and the waitress said that they might be frozen still OK sure the other thing what I had was the taco I had assumed for $8 - $6 dollars that it would be at least two tacos, but no, it was one taco and it wasn’t really that good Furthermore, when we left, we had to wait in line to pay our bill because no one gave us the check I don’t blame the staff. I blame the owners for poor food quality, bad service and...

We went for a lunch meal at this BBQ restaurant once we learned it was here, thanks to a Valpack coupon. It's out-of-the-way near a resort hotel and campground in Enoch, housed in a barn-like structure on the resort grounds, with decor to match. Once inside, though, where we could smell the wonderful aromas from the kitchen, we knew we had found a new favorite for special meals! I had a lunch special of fish and fries: crispy fried cod served with an exquisite chipotle tartar sauce. My spouse had the lunch portion of ribs that were smoked to perfection, with sides of cowboy beans and fries. Both lunches came with a little tub of strong, savory dill spear ends. The whole meal was impressive. Then the owner served us a small dish of peach cobbler on the house, because it was our first time there. It was delicious! We plan to return, this time for dinner on our 52nd anniversary, which is coming up soon!

Delicious food, personalized service, historic building. Charlotte was kind enough to give us a tour of the grounds which have phenomenal history and architecture. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken dinner and my husband had the 6 oz sirloin(which he claims was cooked to perfection, and it was wrapped in bacon!) The only thing I would suggest is if they add a simple glaze to the chicken before serving. It slowly got dry, but it had amazing flavor! My husband also wished there was an option for brown gravy on the potatoes, they were perfectly cooked and had a great garlic flavor but the option would have been nice. We also had the peach cobbler for dessert. It was perfectly tangy and sweet with plenty of icecream involved. Will definitely be back to try the brisket. They've also promised to add a smoked turkey to the menu 😋 Will be returning!

Quite easily one of the best dining expirences of my life. I can't tell you how hospitable the service was, I went on a double date night and by the end of the meal our stomachs were full of good food and our cheeks hurt from the laughing and great conversations we had with the staff. They had set up this amazing wedding venue and we showed up close to closing time so we felt kinda bad- but they couldn't have made us more at home and the wedding guests even enjoyed our company. This hole-in-the-wall restaurant was quite easily one of my happiest memories this year with amazing food to pair with it. Now whenever I have friends or family come into town or a date night I will always suggest and take them here first! If your reading this please go! No questions asked, you won't regret it!
