Views are phenomenal, and of course that's the only reason you would go here. The food is overpriced and a bit odd - for example, I ordered a "Chicken Salad Sandwich" and the chicken was warm and not dressed at all. The server did let me know that it was warm, and the sandwich tasted ok, but I'm not sure why it has that name when a chicken salad sandwich means basically one thing and this isn't it. Food was also overpriced, but that's to be expected at a tourist spot like this. Hubby got salmon fish and chips and enjoyed it.
One pleasant surprise was the absolutely great service we received. Our server was helpful, friendly, and let me order a custom Mocktail type drink. I overheard another server tell a customer she noticed a problem with the way his order was cooked and that he hadn't eaten it without him even saying anything. I even saw our server get accosted by an elderly guest when she was coming out of the bathroom (which are outside and downstairs from the restaurant BTW) and he grabbed her arm and started asking her for something and she handled him with grace. I'm not sure I would have been so patient after a busy day of...
Read moreThis visit was a surprise birthday trip! The gondola ride was great. My only negative is that the tickets cost $78 for us Seniors and closer to $100 otherwise. That is pricey to us! The views on top were spectacular even with the wildfire smoke. We had lunch at the Summit Inn. Hubby had the smoked brisket sandwich. It was huge! I wanted the salmon sandwich but they were out of salmon. This particular day was the last day of the season so the menu by 3:00 was running out. I had the Smokehouse Chopped Salad. It was deeeelicious!! Had to take half home. Staff was great, friendly and a little tired. The place was packed with a 90 minute wait!! I will go back in a heartbeat! I just recommend that you come early, enjoy the view, take a hike and finish with a...

Parking is 30$. After parking in any lot (we parked in lot F), u get to take a free shuttle to the actual mountain area. There is no advantage in parking In any lot.. All are the same.
Gandola ride is 40$ Ski equipment rental is 72$ Pass to ski areas (we went to discovery park) was 65$
If its ur first time skiing or ur very new to it, don't push urself and instead practice in the beginner area that is right outside the ski rental shop. U do need to a pass to ski even if u get ur own equipment. Very beautiful view, very clean. Good options for food.
If ur not interested in skiing, u can still go, take the gandola ride, enjoy the view, eat in peace, click awesome pics...
