Id hate to see anyone else overpay for the poor experience I had. Im not usually one to write a review unless the place is REALLY bad. So here we are... First, upon arriving we were seated by the hostess and given chips and salsa. The salsa was the only part of the meal that was actually really good. So after waiting at 20-30 minutes we finished the chips and salsa, by that point, we still didnt even have a waitress come to our table to take a drink order or even greet us. Maybe we were forgotten about on the patio, or perhaps its the staffing issues everyone has, so we let that go, but were ready to leave right when a waitress FINALLY came out. So having all that time, we knew what we wanted ordered everything at once. The $13 appetizer sampler came out and it was literally just a plate of a bunch of freezer food, that was overly fried and not very much of it, and microwaved queso dip. Then the food came out probably at Least another 25 minutes later. We both ordered the street tacos. For real though, How do you mess up tacos? Ill tell you... They were super tiny, WAY over seasoned with a weird seasoning ive never tasted in a steak taco before, with just a couple flakes of cilantro and onion. Were they running out? the shell on it was a tiny Ortega style flour tortilla, aren't street tacos typically made with corn? and these were $14!!!! The side of beans and rice were terrible as well. VERY obviously canned refried beans with no seasoning, and the rice was just bland. Worst of all, the price for all this. 6 street tacos, beans and rice, frozen mediocre appetizers and 2 beers, came to $60! That place was a waste of money and time. its nice on the outside but dont let looks deceive you. There are too many good Mexican restaurants in the area, and my advice would be to pick ANY of them over this place. Needless to say I wont be back. One...
Read moreI was waiting to cool off before I made this post. I took my wife there for what I thought was gonna be an amazing meal. It definitely was not. The sign says fine Mexican cuisine. Which is not what either one of us received. I ordered 2 soft tacos and she ordered a burrito w/rice and beans. So with the tacos there was unseasoned hamburger meat with American cheese melted on top of it. I'm thinking wait this is supposed to be Mexican cuisine. My wife's burrito was the same way. The rice was harder than when it came out of the package. It was honestly the worst food I've ever tried to eat in my whole life. I waited for almost 40 minutes for the server to come back so I could state my complaints about the food. Both of our plates were still full with maybe a bite or 2 out of each plate. I told him this is not Mexican cuisine by any nature. He then tells me that they specialize in a "Tex-Mex" style entree. Um okkk, but where does it say that? It said fine Mexican cuisine on the sign. So I asked for a refund and he has the nerve to say there is no one there to initiate a refund. So I got stuck paying $36 for 2 entrees that we didn't even eat. It was a lesson learned. I drove by that place a hundred times and finally tried it. Well I will drive by a hundred more times and I definitely wouldn't stop again. Nastiest food I've ever tried to choke down. My dogs wouldn't even eat it. The wannabe chef who works there needs some schooling for sure. Who would ever send something so disgusting and nasty to someone's table? Like where is your pride? I honestly have no clue on how a restaurant like that is still open. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS BELOW...
Read moreI wish I could say that it was a great experience, but it was poor. First of all, whoever's idea it is to put a ceiling fan under a light should be fired. It was like a strobe light over our table. When I asked if the fan could be turned off, I was told no because it will cause a short in the other fans. Then I asked if we could sit at another table, we were again told no, even though there was no one sitting yet at the table next to us. Seriously. My niece and her boyfriend left my birthday party early because they were getting dizzy. Both my mom and myself got so nauseous and dizzy, that we ended our meal because I was going to throw up from the dizziness. Secondly, the acoustics in there were terrible. It was so echoey loud that we couldn't hear one another. Even the waitress had to ask us more than once to repeat ourselves. We weren't talking about how great the overpriced food was, we were all complaining about the strobe lights over our table. The food was decent, but way overpriced for the quality and quantity served. The margarita and iced teas were good. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I'm sure it was difficult for her to deal with the noise and complaining, but she still provided good service. I will not return to dine in again. The chips were ok, but the salsa containers were broke and crusty. I appreciate good service, but the establishment was sub-par. The lighting and fan setup alone will make me say absolutely not. The rest of the stuff probably wouldn't have prevented a return visit. Now everyone is too nauseous to eat my birthday cake. Thanks La Fiesta for ruining my...
