We ate here for the first time last night, a Saturday. We arrived around 7:40 and fully anticipated a lengthy wait, which we were totally fine with. We drove about 40 minutes to get here as it was recommended by someone. We were sat at 8:10, and about ten minutes later our drink order was taken. We waited 25 minutes to then receive our drinks, and another five to have our order taken. So, at that point, it was after 8:45 and we had waited AT the table for as long as we waited FOR our table... and hadn’t even put in our order yet.

Our waitress apologized and mentioned a couple times how busy it was (which, again, we anticipated) but meanwhile, she was being very attentive to two close by tables. One was 6 people, all older adults. One was 4 people, all older adults. My boyfriend and I (mid 20s) are VERY used to being treated as less than priority by waitresses, presumably due to our age and the assumption we won’t tip as well, but last night was an entirely new level. She had checked on the two tables nearby 3 times while we were waiting on our drinks and order to be taken - it clearly wasn’t a “too busy” issue.

Then, we got our food... very quickly, which was great.. but it was terrible. My chicken chunks were so burnt they literally hurt my teeth to bite into, and meat was filler heavy. My boyfriend got the perch and scallops, not realizing the scallops were frozen and fried. I’m really surprised they charge $24.50 for that meal, considering we could’ve had a higher quality, better tasting meal at a highway diner for less than $25 TOTAL. My nearly inedible meal and our less than refreshing drinks that took 25 minutes to get cost us $60.... for greasy, fried, burnt food and super sub par service. Bleh.

Patio is great, but certainly not worth the price...

TL;DR: Food good, but poor service, unnecessary extended waits, and lackluster staff/manager make this a no-go for me.

This restaurant came highly recommended to me as a great place to dock your boat and enjoy a beer and a good sandwhich. However, my experience was far from this.

We waited about 30 minutes for a seat, which wouldn't have been a big deal, except that they were only about half full - the hostess informed us they weren't even seating in parts of the restaurant indoors because of low staff. Okay, weird, but whatever. Not a big deal.

We got our drinks and placed our order. It took a full 30 minutes for our appetizers to come out (which, for the record, did taste good). It was nearly another 45 minutes before our food came out! We watched several tables of other patrons show up, get set served, and leave in the time that we waiting for our orders. When I went in and got the manager who was tending bar, she just said "let me go see" and walked into the kitchen, never to be seen again.

Our waitress almost completely avoided us in this time, as well - drinks went unfilled for more than 30 minutes for our table of 5, while the party of 8+ next to us was waited on hand and foot.

Finally our food came and it was in to-go boxes! Apparently our waitress or the manager misinterpreted our request to expedite our orders after 50 minutes as "please give us our food to-go" - that, or they just wanted us gone.

Ultimately, I wouldn't be sitting here writing a negative review if our waitress or the manager would have taken 10 seconds to talk to us and apologize...

I have never been treated so rude by any hostess, ever. While on vacation, we thought that we may eat at Webber's for our dinner. When we pulled up, there were many people standing outside, so I went in just to ask what the wait time was. This place is about 50 feet inside of the hostile territory known as Michigan. I stepped into the entryway, where there were no people, and where the hostess was stationed. I covered my face with my hat and said, Excuse me, ma'am?" Immediately I was harshly scorned that I needed a mask on to be in the establishment. I pointed to my hat covering my face. Very rudely I was told, "that's not a mask! You need to have a mask on to come in here. Go outside!" I very politely said, "Nevermind, my family and I will spend our money elsewhere," and I left. You could not pay me to darken the door of this establishment, even if they were the only place to eat and I was starving. I would dive their dumpster before entering their establishment, but from the reviews, I don't think that the food from their dumpster would taste any different than the food they serve inside. The only difference would be that the service and staff would be better at the dumpster. They have long waiting times, not because the food is good, but because the...

We have been here occasionally and they have served consistently good food plus the water views are lovely. On this occasion unfortunately our visit was disappointing mainly due to our waitress Christina who served us our water in very small glasses. When I said that’s all we were having to drink and could we please get some lemons and also have larger glasses she said no, that large cups are very limited. So then I asked for a pitcher and she said no, they couldn’t leave pitchers on the tables, even though the group next to us (that she also was waiting on) did indeed have a pitcher of water on their table. I have a very dry mouth due to a medical condition, but all I mentioned was that she will then have to refill us frequently. Shortly after this exchange a couple was seated behind my husband with a different waitress & they were brought large glasses of water, even with lemons, which she never did bring us. Luckily I did get a slice of lemon with my fish so I used that in my teeny tiny glass of water! That being said, the onion rings were delicious & food was good, but I had to ration my water intake throughout the meal! 🙄

I was looking for a seafood to have a great meal and reconnect with friends. Searching and searching I came up pretty empty. Then I found Webbers. I had an early dinner there with two great friends and it was phenomenal. The seafood is great, We had fried peach and broiled walleye. Homemade tarter sauce was a big hit. The Cajun shrimp appetizer was also very good, along with The bread was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside, the clam chowder was absolutely phenomena and could be a meal in itself. The side selections are limited to Veggie of the day, coleslaw, potatoes and beets or onion rings. I’ll Make the drive all the way down from metro Detroit again before the month is out to experience this once more. You just can’t beat the outdoor, all the waterfront ambience that this place offers.

The views on the outside deck are the best! The view is what will bring me back to Webbers. The food is somewhat lacking. Especially for the prices. None of the sandwiches are any good. The chicken sandwich is dried out and flavorless. The burger is boring with no specialty toppings. They really need to come up with a couple of really good sandwiches for the lunch crowd. A fresh turkey/avocado wrap, ruban, Cuban, etc. How difficult is it to come up with something. Don't think your menu is good because people come back. It is because of the view. Improve your menu.
