I avoid sharing unpleasant experiences on social media. However this one warrants sharing. I ordered a medium rare (warm pink center) filet. I cut into the outer edge and it was blood red. I told our server and Destiny told me that I can wait until she's finished with others in our group. I don't like sending food back to the kitchen, but this steak was inedible. The filet came back and Destiny asked me to check it. I cut the filet in the middle and the steak was still bloody. Destiny called over to whom I presumed was the manager and loudly stated "Can you come over and deal with her". Several people in the dining room heard her...So the man comes over, gets uncomfortably close to my food and says; "It looks medium rare to me". Although he offered to have another prepared for me, I declined. I was told that they would not charge me for the filet. When Destiny delivered my check, the total did not reflect the removal of $28.95 filet. I brought this to Destiny's attention and she became a bit hostile and pointed to the top of the bill which reflected no charge for the filet. I explained to Destiny that the TOTAL did not reflect the removal of the charge. Destiny grabbed the bill out of my hand and recalculated my bill. Although it was inaccurate, I chose to just pay. I also ordered a Tito and soda with lemon. I was served flat club soda with a lime. I asked for a shot of Tito so that I could determine what I was actually given. It was not Tito. This establishment could use a Jon Taffer rescue. I prefer to give Ricardos 0 stars, however this platform...

Ricardo's Is and Always will be my favorite restaurant in Erie - and actually my favorite of all time forever. No matter when I go there the foid is so delicious and perfect every time. Then you meet any of the staff and they just make you feel so welcome. It is truly "family" there for me. Do yourselves a huge favor...Make Ricardo's a Must on your "to do" list. If not, you're missing out on the very best Italian/American cuisine that you'll ever taste in this wonderful world of ours. Seriously the most perfect juiciest Filet Minion paired up with 2 big pieces of Lake Erie perch, pasta with spaghetti suace sampler, homemade fried zucchini, choice of potato, fresh Italian bread and butter, and Big Smile on my face (priceless) and all of that for $18. Really? It was a Great evening and then tonight we were in the presence of angels - the Benedictine Sisters had a small prayer service in the main dining room and filled that restaurant with lots of love from above. ok...enough for now. Nothing but the BEST from...

We had high expectations. The staff is decent our waitress was very nice. We had a reservation and were seated immediately. I ordered a long Island and hubby ordered a beer. Drinks took over 10 minutes to recieve. My long island looked and tasted as if it was a powdered mix. Not a fan. We ordered the veal parm and the Peter's special steak. I loved that they give you bread, and fried zucchini as a starter with a little bowl of some pasta. Not a fan of the sauce used on their past as it was way way to sweet. Too much sugar. The veal honestly looked as it if it was a TV dinner unthawed and heated and placed on a plate. The Peter's steak special was a horrible dissapointment. Was very small for being the most expensive steak on the menu, had absolutly no flavor besides the juice it resided in which tasted like A1 watered down. It was tender and great texture I will give them this but honestly that is all. I'm sorry but for us this will be a restaurant on our will not...

Came here on lunch with some personnel from GE. The server we had (short, short brown hair in ponytail) was actually very rude. The bread that was standard for the table she didn't bring, and when asked, she brought 2 pieces to a table of 5. She never came back to check on us and it took forever for her to bring refills and the check. She just wasn't friendly, like she was mad she had to wait on us, and her service showed that. This place has no bacon for club sandwiches, no cheese for salads...the food is so very basic. But the grilled chicken was seasoned well for my salad. I doubt I'd ever eat there again. It just wasn't great or memorable.

First, Erin was an outstanding server. My wife had the fresh manicotti with two meatballs. I had the Italian combo with two manicotti, four ravioli and two meatballs. Before the meals were served, we got a salad, small bowl of ziti with sauce, a small plate of lightly battered fried zucchini and a basket of bread. All of this is made fresh there. With a strawberry daiquiri, diet pop and a piece of peanut butter pie, it came to $59 and some change. Truly a hidden gem here.

You really can’t beat small town family owned restaurants. Feels like you’re walking into your Italian grandmas living room here. If you’re into that you’ll love this place. I ordered the cubed steak sandwich with cheese and regret not getting onions and shrooms because it could have used a little more juice. Taste was very good though and the fries were impeccable. Also price was not bad at all for a sit down dining experience.
