I’ve been here 5 times. This Dunkin is always understaffed; a single drink order at the counter takes 5-10 minutes (window orders are given priority, but it also seems like they tend to be larger & so take longer), but they also really pay attention to instructions. I really don’t think the problem is the staff - they never stop moving & working constantly; it must be exhausssting! It’s totally a top-down management issue where they’re trying to minimize labor hours by working everyone to a pulp. So the fact that these poor employees aren’t just sparkling & radiating narcotic-induced levels of corporate cheer at the counter is barely worth mentioning (one poor dude literally has an eye twitch from the stress) - when you consider the very opportunistic predatory corporate work environment of this place. At least from the outside, that’s how it seems. No one there ever complains; they’re all too tired. 😅 They just look thrashed by the grind but still never stop. Serious Chinese sweatshop vibes. I personally can’t support it anymore & will go elsewhere (though Starbucks isn’t exactly a bastion of work-life balance & human decency). Put at least one more person on staff esp in the mornings and maybe everyone would be in better sorts & a single latte could get made in a minute or 2. Those employees are doing their best, management or otherwise top-down budgetary management is really failing them here, and failing the customer too because employee morale matters to me. I hate seeing this kind of exploitation of wage workers. It’s reminder of our oligarchal dystopia when I was trying to drown my angst in bittersweet chai. Now I can’t look away in fatalistic consumerist surrender, because I’m being scalded with it at the coffee counter.
3 stars for the working man, doing their best. 0 for whatever mustachio’d carpet bagger is cracking the whip on...
Read moreThis particular D&D is almost always very busy, and properly staffed to ensure a quick stop and go.. Which is what most everyone is expecting when you want to grab a quick coffee and or sandwich.. Service has always been great, employees hustle and get orders out efficiently.. They are friendly and DO NOT stand around talking with one another, as someone had previously mentioned.. Workers talk to each other same as any other work place. (Hey RAY, maybe... Just maybe, it could be considered as friendly communication between coworkers.. Which in my opinion is more than fair, and good thing.. Just a thought, and also my opinion. Only reason for not giving 5 stars, is because of more recent change at this location.. Management obviously has made a decision to remove all trash and waste containers outside this store including the trash can by the drive thru.. I can see how people may abuse the convenience if the container in front of store.. But, container by drive thru are generally only used by (PAYING) D&D customers.. Thank you for the opportunity to express my experience at...
