Actually I will tell you the truth since you sought me out and asked. First i believe our server was new, she was very sweet but not very confident. We ordered the special for the 4 of us and soup instead of salad. We weren't served any bread. The soup was so bad I sent mine back but the other 3 couldn't eat theirs either. We ordered the meatloaf special when it arrived it was stone cold and it also looked like ground beef just spread on the plate instead of a slice of meatloaf and a small serving size. Even the gravy was congealed although in our servers defense the plates were hot enough to burn our hands. The first servings of coffee were cold. For dessert 3 of us chose sundaes, I had to explain there was a difference between hot fudge and chocolate syrup, I was very clear but she continued to call it hot fudge instead of chocolate syrup. I ordered a caramel Sundae with extra caramel that when it arrived it was chocolate syrup. It went back and again I said extra caramel along with my family member that ordered xtra chocolate syrup. I did end up with the caramel but there wasn't enough caramel on it to call it more than a light drizzle. I would highly suggest that until she is more used to her job she write things down, we all ordered the special we all sent it back to be warmed up, three of us ordered the same dessert 2 were wrong. We have eaten here several times in years past, the food and service were far better than what we...
Read moreNot impressed with the food, service or prices. I ordered a steak to be medium and it came WELL, WELL done. It was completely dry with no pink at all and no flavor. The green beans were frozen beans that were super crunchy with no flavor. The pasta mornay side came out cold and had no flavor. The baked French onion soup was very blah. My boyfriend ordered the naked pasta and he said it was flavorless. We had to request dinner rolls and were given two. When we asked if we could get more we then were brought three. We got the feeling they didn’t want to give us more like we were taking money out of their pockets by requesting a few extra dinner rolls. My boyfriend got the shrimp cocktail and it was $12 for four medium-ish sized shrimp. Prices were outrageous and the food was less than mediocre. The bill came to over $70 for two meals an appetizer a corona and a mixed drink. Then since I used my debit card, they charged me a fee on top of my bill. It was either $3.99 or 3.99%. Our waitress was very forgetful. We asked for two waters as soon as we got there and had to ask for them again after about 20 minutes. We were given the bill and ended up waiting to pay it for over 15 minutes because she had to wait on a big table, supposedly. For the prices the Log Cabin charges, you can go to the Stonehouse for a MUCH better, flavorful dinner. Won’t be coming back any time soon. Very...
Read moreCute, cozy atmosphere; really nice bar set-up. Tasteful decor with humorous signs and a homey spin to the place. Really adorable!
Perfectly cooked ribeye and baby back ribs were a 'bit' on the pricier side compared to other places, but I think here you get what you pay for.
There was a super tasty side dish of pasta and very small side of green beans, and a salad. They didn't heap our table with a boat load of food, but I was full and had a large part of my 14oz steak left over. My husband's baby back ribs were awesome: not a dry spot in them and it was the actual whole rack, not 6 ribs masquerading as a full-rack (looking at you Outback Steakhouse)
Efficient but non-intrusive waitress always made sure we had refills without being overbearing. My only thumbs down was the music choice. It's sort of loud. That wouldn't be an issue if it weren't ZZ Top. But it was harder rock with long, harsh guitar riffs, etc. It was sort of assaulting my ears. I would prefer something a little less pool-hall. It didn't fit the place. But if that's my only complaint, you're doing something right, lol! We will definitely return and possibly make this a regular...
