Essex Pizza — Restaurant in Essex

I've been eating their food since I was born, it's a small local place, that does a lot of take out for locals. Food is good for a decent pizza / sub shop, prices are reasonable, no fee for delivery just tip the driver, I've been watching them cook stuff to order for most of my life, not some 17 year old who's following a sheet of directions preparing pre made stuff. Pizza is the cheesy, saucy, not sweet type typical of Greek pizza places. They use a nice hardy sauce, and aren't shy with the cheese and toppings. As for the other reviews on the "attitude", it's a Greek pizza place, you call, you order, you pick it up or get it delivered, if they've made a mistake TELL THEM, I'll bet they try and make it right. I’ve traveled all over the U.S., from Chicago to New York, L.A., Miami, and Philly always on the hunt for great pizza spots. One evening in Boston, I walked into a place and saw a friendly looking guy enjoying a slice. As I often do when I see someone eating pizza, I asked him, “What’s the best pizza spot you know?” Without hesitation, he said, “There’s a place in Essex called Essex Pizza.” Weeks went by, and I finally decided to make the trip. To my surprise, Essex Pizza turned out to be one of the best slices I’ve ever had — the crust was perfectly thick, the cheese was top quality, and it was cooked just right. I had stopped by because I was in town and was hungry for a bite of pizza with my husband. We are not from the area since we were just doing deliveries through a third party network. I go in and you get greeted by staff very friendly and nice man 😊 I had ordered a pepperoni pizza, but this pizza and the way it was made was very delicious and it was homemade as style like you can tell they had put a lot of flavor and love into they’re food, I had bought a large. I always eat usually 2 slices but this pizza had me going for a 4th one until me and my husband had finished while eating inside. I did not expect that.
