twins owl steakhouse on the rocky mountains was the best food ever. Now I wont lie its expensive but I worked my ass off for this vacation so I told myself I didnt care about the price and this changed my perspective on alot. This was the biggest bill my wife has ever seen in a restaurant but I told her order whatever you want. #eating #steaks #expensive #twinowlssteakhouse

Condescending service that ruined a family trip. Food isn’t worth the price. My family was visiting Colorado from out of state (and from a different country) and were appalled by the service here. Reading some of the other Google reviews, it seems like they’re not the only ones, especially since others have also complained about the rude and condescending wait staff, the staff’s discrimination against people wearing casual clothes, and behavior that felt racially charged. Is condescension a prerequisite to be a waiter here? For context, my family of four was looking for a delicious restaurant to eat dinner after a day of hiking. They were cold, so they asked for hot water to drink. Their server said the restaurant didn’t “serve hot water because this is a fine dining restaurant,” which is… absolutely ridiculous (especially since my family ended up spending $$$ here and other guests were dressed casually). His hoity-toity tone wasn’t appreciated, but English isn’t my family’s first language and they’re in a different US state, so they brushed it off and focused on enjoying their dinner. In a strange twist of events, the waiter returned with glasses and individual teapots for each person, filled with VERY hot water. All of the items crowded the small table (see attached photo), along with the dinner dishes, so the hot teapots were touching people’s forearms. It was as if he said, “You want hot water? I’ll give you SO MUCH hot water, you won’t dare to ask for it again!” My family was confused why he would do that, instead of coming over without the teapots and serving the hot water in glasses, as is. They didn’t understand why he was being so passive-aggressive, when my family was nothing but nice to him. In another instance during the same dinner, my family was enjoying the bread for the table and politely asked if they could have more. In a similar tone and fashion, the waiter returned with an obscene amount of bread. Again, passive-aggression. The food was fine, but didn’t justify the price. It also doesn’t seem like this is a one-off instance, as other guests have also had bad experiences with the waitstaff here. What’s infuriating is that my family spent hundreds of dollars here, yet were treated as if they were second class. Don’t come here if you’re looking for a welcoming environment and good food. It’s not worth your time, money, or appetite. My family’s experience here tainted the rest of their trip.

Twin Owls Steakhouse offers an exceptional dining experience that transcends expectations, and my recent visit was a testament to the quality and service that this establishment is known for. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for what would be an unforgettable evening.

Luis, our server for the evening, played a pivotal role in making our dining experience extraordinary. His attentiveness, knowledge, and genuine passion for his work were evident from the start. Luis was not just a server but a guide, offering insightful recommendations from the menu and ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfectly executed. He anticipated our needs before we even expressed them, and his friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel like honored guests. It’s rare to find such a combination of professionalism and warmth, and Luis excelled in both.

The food at Twin Owls Steakhouse is, without a doubt, a culinary triumph. Every dish was prepared with precision and creativity, a true reflection of the skill and dedication of the chefs. The steaks, which are the hallmark of any great steakhouse, were cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor. The balance of seasoning was impeccable, allowing the natural flavors of the high-quality meat to shine through.

Beyond the steaks, the appetizers and sides were equally impressive. The flavors were bold yet harmonious, with each dish complementing the next. Whether it was the fresh, crisp salads or the decadent, buttery mashed potatoes, every bite was a testament to the expertise of the kitchen staff.

While Luis was the face of the service we experienced, it’s important to recognize the entire team at Twin Owls Steakhouse. The coordination between the kitchen and the serving staff was seamless, ensuring that each dish arrived at the table at the perfect temperature and beautifully presented. The chefs deserve special recognition for their ability to turn quality ingredients into works of art on a plate. Their creativity and attention to detail are evident in every dish, making the dining experience not just about eating but about savoring and enjoying every moment.

In conclusion, Twin Owls Steakhouse is more than just a place to eat; it’s a destination for those who appreciate excellent food and outstanding service. Luis and the entire staff have set a high standard for what dining out should be, and the culinary team has crafted a menu that delights the senses. If you are looking for a dining experience that combines top-notch service, delicious food, and a welcoming atmosphere, Twin Owls Steakhouse should be at the top of your list. I look forward to my next visit, knowing that I will be in good hands and will leave with a satisfied palate and a...

I'm not one to write reviews however after an amazing day of adventures it was ended on a bad note. Expectations were high when we booked reservations for this place. We were celebrating a birthday. Me and my boyfriend were very excited to try this place. Was suppose to be fine dining.

We sat down we had an amazing view. The waiter came over she was very nice in the beginning and very on top of everything. I ordered a glass of Moscato which was pretty good a little on the flat side but not horrible. We got bread to start off with, which was also good. We ordered our entrees my boyfriend got the 12oz New York strip medium rare, with a side of mash potatoes. I got the burger medium rare with cheddar $1.50 up charge and bacon $2 up charge. We waited about 20mins for our food which is about right for those dishes we were on no rush. When we received our food I couldn't believe that they would send out a steak that looked as awful was it was . First off it was grey, the middle wasn't even pink just grey with a pink tint. You couldn't chew it and it wasn't even warm. I told my boyfriend that it wasn't right and he needs to say something to our server.

I work in the food industry at a higher end restaurant as well however I would have never let that touch the table. We talked to the waiter we asked if they had cooked it frozen because we are 99% sure that's what happened. She said that nothing is frozen there and if we wanted a new on or if we wanted to put it back on the grill. We opted to put it back on the grill. Once we got it back it was wasn't any better, it had no flavor, you could barely chew it. Once the waiter had came back we just let her know that it still wasn't good, again she offered to make us a new one or to put it back on the grill. My boyfriend said it was fine he'll eat this one so it doesn't go to waste. At this point I'm done with my meal, we are fed up and ready to leave. Once she heard that he was just going to eat this one she said "we are trying to make this right and you need to help us out so we can make this right" she said this in a very condescending tone. After my boyfriend again repeated that it's fine he'll just eat it so it doesn't go to waste she says "okay" with an eye roll and attitude.

After that she was not tentative to our table. Took her longer to get back to us, to clear our plates and get a dessert. They gave us a dessert on the house and gave us 50% off the New York strip. Kinda of makes up for everything but the experience was definitely ruined. I looked at the most recent reviews for this place and it looks like everyone is not happy over all. Maybe in the future we'll give it another go. However not...
