Jovi's was very lackluster. The service was slow and not attentive had to find her for a drink refill while waiting almost 45 minutes for breakfast. The food is overpriced for the quality. Everything comes from a can or is frozen and deep-fried. Lacking in Seasoning. Tastes like Hospital food bland, tasteless and over cooked. It was $30 for a breakfast that didn't was close in flavor and serving size to a fast food platter (Hardee's). Also tried lunch the following day basically same price and wait for 2 meat and 2 plates. Recieved scorched, burnt and old pinto beans, burnt cornbread, Really dry left over Pork Roast BBQ drenched in sauce try to hide how dried out the pork was, the green beans tasted lile the can they came in and bland as baby food, and the server said no one else had said anything maybe it was just our tastes that had an issue. But this place changes ownership every couple years guess we'll wait and see what the next owners come up with or maybe Pat will buy it back. But til then I won't be back. And stay away from the pancakes they taste like Bisquik and water or frozen microwaved. I usually try to find a saving grace at a restaurant but this place fought itself, every ok thing was deleted by 3...

Fast forward to new owner/name ... Jovis. Still great service, fresh paint etc. Food two weeks in a row was very disappointing. Last week (6/1) they ran out of grits and gravy was totally different. This week grits were cold, second try was watery. Gravy was much better, French fries totally different, said they were trying something new, don't bother, stick with what's good. Spinach omelet was missing the feta. Other tables around us seemed to be having issues with their...

Many reviews mention how busy it gets, but that's a testament to their delicious and affordable food, and their loyal local customer base. You'll often see regulars who clearly frequent the establishment. Their chicken and home fries are amazing, and the loaded hash brown is an absolute must-try. We even ordered a second serving of their delicious french toast! If you're looking for a great meal, give this place a try. Just be prepared for a potential wait during peak hours due to...
