Bob’s Café — Restaurant in Ethridge

A very unwelcoming and harsh restaurant, we spilt two different drinks and never got any service from waiters. We also never got refills. The general manager AKA our waitress, did not once come and check on our table. She did not get our correct order due lack of communication on her part for not going over the order with us to make sure she understood all we ordered was correct. Refusing she was not wrong about the incorrect items and argued claiming she was right and we was wrong, she created a damaging and frightening environment for my family and causing others to leave due to the scene she displayed. Also I do not recommend the nachos, they were cold upon arrival. There was hardly any cheese and we received major attitude from the GENERAL MANAGER upon request for more cheese. 0 out of 10 for me. Very very bad customer service! Ate here last weekend, they were rude but the burgers were actually pretty good. Strongly recommend not going out of your way to go here. Drove 2 hours, from Cullman Al to take the family here for a burger, since they were good! Pulled up at front door a few minutes before 7, lady promptly walks up to door and flips signed to closed, right in front on me. I walk in anyway and ask if the hours changed from 9? I was informed they decided to call it early because it was raining and they were busy early in the day! I told her we had just drove 2 hours to eat here and she told me to be careful going home! Myself and 4 friends came for lunch. First we were seated apart and when I simply moved the table to straighten it, I was scolded to not move tables the owner would have a fit. I explained I simply scooted it over to line up with my chair. We then ordered and a friend and I shared. They came out with the lid tore off a to go box for my plate. Said that’s all they had. Then they handed out plastic silverware. Then when the sandwich came out the club was not cut in squares nor in half. We asked if they could cut it and was told No! We were told use are plastic knife in package. We explained it would not cut and asked them can you bring us a knife and was told he would not let us use his knife. We just eventually dealt with it.
