Okay - let’s start with the name is now “Bombers” for short and actually is actually “Bombers Bad AZZ bar and grill” too long for sure. The social media, couldn’t be weaker… HOWEVER - the new owners have cleaned up the place (restaurant, marina, gift shop) and the restaurant food, It is INCREDIBLE!! The “Bad Azz Chicken sandwich”, ridiculously good. Lightly breaded, chicken that filled the bun, coleslaw on it (try is you will love it) and a Hawaiian bun!! The nachos also great. Fry’s and fried Okra each good.. Don’t get it to go, better fresh. Not busy, clean and great food. I have been there twice in the last ten days, back to back great. Afterward we had ice cream from the marina gift shop, then topped off the tank on the boat ($4.80 today per today). All was good. Nice friendly people. Trying to hire more. Of note - We personally have given up on the SS Dockside Kings River). This is worth the trip. We also go to Campbell Point allot - two different vibes. I personally feel like, more thought or care goes into the food at Bombers than Watson’s. The last two trips to Watson’s (in the past month) was okay $2.00 extra for the bacon on a burger that was almost raw twice…) but certainly not memorable. People at Watson as a note are super nice though. Anyway -checkout Big M and eat there. It...

Although our waitress was pleasant she was spread too thin with tables and was not attentive. Once seated it was another thirty minutes before anyone even acknowledged us and an hour before our order was taken. Once our order was placed (nothing complex or off menu) It took another hour and a half for us to receive our meals. The food was OK but for sure not worth a full afternoon lost...
Read moreDrove almost an hour to eat there and it was worth it! Even though it was over 100° outside, the fried pickles, shrimp and fish tacos, hamburger, hot wings, and some weird crab chip dip were all delicious. There weren't many diners the but the servers were kind, welcoming, and gave us space yet stayed attentive of our needs. The best part was sitting with the wife and little one on the dock and feeding the fish and turtles before and after dinner. An afternoon...
