Cornerstone Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Eureka

I had been wanting to try their sour kraut and sausage Thursday special for some time now. The opportunity availed itself tonight. Not often this combination is offered in restaurants around here. I was completely satisfied with my meal of mashed potatoes and brown gravy along with the sour kraut and roll. Had a cup of coffee to drink. Coffee was very good also. As a sign of the times the restaurant is lacking in the employee department. Waitresses seemed to be overworked and it was getting late in the day. The restaurant is clean and crisp with a religious theme. Signs all over telling of this at every walk, etc. Mostly older customers it seems. I was served as promptly as possible and my food came right out pronto. I was dining alone as I do these days after my wife passed away. It seems to be a stigma dining alone. Restaurant employees seem to look at us differently than a family, etc. I didn't have a warm and fuzzy feeling with the service not that anyone was rude, etc. Would have liked a dessert, but was never asked and it seemed far and in-between having someone check on me. These are just my thoughts and one has to understand the difficulties these people are having to endure. God willing I'll be back in the future for another special and maybe some...

We ate here a few days ago when we came into town to purchase a vehicle from the Ford dealer across the street from this restaurant. I have to say that we were very pleased with our experience here. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff were friendly. Most importantly the food was great! The value was also excellent, we were a group of 5 (2 adults and 3 children under 10) and we all got an entree and a drink for around $50. The portions were good. We were amazed that after we ordered our food came out in about 10 mins. The service was lightning fast, which is great if you have little kids with you that have trouble waiting. I would absolutely eat here again and I’m sure if I lived in the area, it would be a staple. You can tell the management/staff take pride in their customer service and business. We especially enjoyed the faith based atmosphere. We felt right at home even as out-of-towners. Thank you for a wonderful meal...

I've been ordering take out from this place for over three years now. Years ago, managers were able to give me a gift card if they forgot apart of my order. I've worked takeout at a busy restaurant before, I get it.

Recently, it's becoming consistent to always have a missing item in my takeout bag. I often double check and have to say what I'm missing. Today, I was missing a side of bacon and a dr. Pepper. And whenever I did get my food.. there was hair in it... long strains.. in the food..

What baffles me is how the manager on duty now has to personally call the owner to resolve issues. I like the food, it's decent. This restaurant is convenient and I love the Godly appreciation. .

..But the quality is going down.. I can taste it.. Super sad about where...
