Had to knock it down a couple stars. The place is quaint and the waterfront patio is lovely but could use a few more umbrellas at the tables. I would say the service was mid but only because I do feel lied to with a smile when we had asked questions about the menu. Me and my husband both got kabob plates after asking if they offered lamb and being told that was lamb. It seems like a good deal when you first look at the menu but then when you get your plate it's kinda disappointing. Comes with 4 sides but realistically it's half portions of what should just be 2 sides and doesn't come with pita- that's extra and they try to upsell you to get "their traditional" zaatar pita. The zaatar pita was good so I'll give it that but really not worth being over $2. The kabobs also i wouldn't even call kabobs. They were what I can only assume was a mix of ground meats and spices shaped into what I will generously call nuggets. All in all if you are looking for authentic Mediterranean food- this is more inspired Mediterranean. Also we spent like $50 for 2 plates, 1 salt pita, 1 zaatar pita, and 2 canned drinks. It was not at all worth $50- we are from SoCal and we are used to authentic Mediterranean food being $50 when we get 2 plates and 1 drink and not only do we leave knowing that we ate the type of meat we ordered but we usually have leftovers enough for a 2nd meal each and wanting to return the next day. Needless to say I'm sure the owners of the restaurant won't care but we won't be returning.

Edit to add: i don't know what was in that "kabob" but I'm 8 months pregnant and can eat just about anything and everything right now no problem and be hungry a few hours later and 3 hours after my meal my stomach is still not settled. I didn't add it in my original review because I thought I just had usual indigestion and needed to let it digest but I still feel just...

Falafelove Review Nestled at 1125 King Salmon Ave, Eureka, CA 95503, Falafelove is a Mediterranean gem that delivers vibrant flavors and a warm, welcoming experience. Owned by the passionate Avishai “Avi” Leibson, this cozy eatery has quickly become a Humboldt County favorite, blending authentic cuisine with heartfelt hospitality. Avi’s exceptional customer service shines through in every interaction, as he engages with guests, offering samples and ensuring everyone leaves satisfied. His dedication to fresh, high-quality ingredients and bold spices elevates each dish, making every bite a delight. The menu is a celebration of Mediterranean classics, catering to both vegans and meat lovers. Signature offerings include the Falafel Wrap ($13.99) or Plate ($14.99), featuring eight crispy falafel balls, and the Chicken Plate ($15.99), with tender, spice-infused chicken drizzled with tzatziki. For seafood enthusiasts, the Spicy Moroccan Fish Plate ($17.99) is a standout, simmered in a rich garlic-tomato sauce. The Beef and Turkey Kebab Plate ($16.99) offers savory, herbaceous flavors. Customize your meal with sides like hummus, baba ganoush, or turmeric rice (99¢ extra), and indulge in desserts like baklava cheesecake. The outdoor patio, overlooking a serene waterway, adds charm to the dining experience. Falafelove’s vibrant atmosphere, flavorful dishes, and Avi’s personal touch make it a must-visit. If you're ever in King Salmon, make sure to swing by Falafel Love. This place is an absolute game-changer for anyone who loves fresh, flavorful, and well-balanced food. From the moment you walk in, you can tell it’s all about quality – every dish is crafted with local ingredients that bring out the very best in every bite.

The falafel? Top-tier. Seriously. Crispy on the outside, perfectly tender on the inside, and packed with flavor. The pita? Also amazing. Soft, warm, and just the right amount of chewiness to complement everything on it. Every ingredient is fresh and harmonizes beautifully, making each bite a little piece of food heaven.

What really sets Falafel Love apart is the setting. It's right next to the water, with views that make your meal even more enjoyable. There's something about enjoying a fresh meal while watching the gentle ripples of the water that just makes it all feel special.

And let’s not forget the people. The service here is incredible – friendly, welcoming, and eager to share the magic of this small town. You don't just feel like a customer, you feel like part of the King Salmon community.

So, if you find yourself in this charming town, do yourself a favor and make your way to Falafel Love. You’ll get delicious food, great vibes, and the kind of experience that makes you appreciate the little things in life....

Holy moly, if you love falafel then you must visit Falafel Love. Love is the vibe, the food is cooked with love and you will feel all the good vibes when you dine here. I got the falafel wrap with hummus, rice, fried peppers, pickled carrots and a green hot sauce that my brain refuses to let me remember. So good! And such a great welcoming space with dining on the bay front canal that even on a foggy day is awesome. When you walk in you are greeted with life. Plants and personal touches adorn this quaint but upscale dining space, its 5 star eats without the outrageous price tag. A northern Humboldt county must visit. If you are in the King Salmon area, just passing through or kayaking in the bay fishing this is a great destination for home cooked greatness served with heart and a smile. I love Falafel Love!!

The food is so fresh and vibrant! The owner is super personable. The place just all around has a good vibe. Can't wait to go when the weather is better to sit outside. We ordered the chicken thigh plate and one of the specials which was a kebab plate both were delicious. You get 4 sides with each plate. The spicy carrots and green schug are actually spicy but we like spicier things so it was great. Probably the best hummus I've had. He told us we could order a side of Falafels and glad we did, seasoned nicely, crunchy outside and soft inside. The only side I didn't really like was the babaganoush but I also don't really like eggplant. We really just wanted to try everything. I'll have to go back and try the Rockfish plate! Highly recommend!
