We were really excited to try this location as we had heard great things about the others in our area (I.e., Greater Portland area) but couldn’t agree less with this location. We waited well over an hour for our food to come out. This was not a problem to us, especially because our server very kindly let us know the kitchen was overloaded and we truly didn’t mind waiting and socializing while we did. Also it was a Saturday night and we understand it was busy but the wait was not worth the Cold dish I was served alongside a pipping hot pizza (?!). I’m not one to complain as I’ve been a waitress before and like to think I understand the pace of this type of environment, however, I have never served nor been served such cold and soggy French fries + chicken in my life. The bun of my chicken sandwich tasted like it had just been taken straight out of the freezer. The pizza came out first (?!) and a few minutes later my food was brought out (why it wasn’t brought together is another question). Additionally, our waitress even asked my fiancé if his pizza was “crispy enough,” because another customer complained, asking for it to be put back in the spinner for longer. After eating a disappointing dish, we waited even longer for someone to bring us boxes and our bill. With everything combined, our visit was just not worth the money...
Read moreCute place on the lake. Was dog friendly also. Menu looked very appealing. Drinks were also pretty good. Everything else was terrible. Our friends kid has serious food allergies. When asked if the fries had the allergens the response was "they threw the box away, but 99% sure it's okay." Same for sweet potato fries. Not worth an EpiPen and hospitalization for a probably okay. So buddy ended up spending $18 for a burger patty, for which he provided the bun, and a few sprigs of broccoli. Ordered spring rolls which came out frozen in the center. They were replaced but came out stupid (likely microwaved) hot. Fries were very inconsistent. Two of three were decent and the last one was very soggy. My jerked chicken was an insult to every Jamaican. Not a hint of heat. If anything, it was passable blackened chicken. My wife's ribs were also suspiciously way too hot (possibly microwaved). Basically nice place to sit outside and have a few drinks. I would not recommend the food. Maybe the pizzas good? 2/10 won't be going to another brickyard. Maybe the Brunswick one closer to home is better, but we'll never know because there are many known great food options...
Read moreGood, but extremely overpriced, when you can get the same thing for less, less than an hr away. We tried and enjoyed the Buffalo chkn, red onion, and gorganzola pizza. We originally started our order with a somewhat rude server who just handed off the phone call while she was still being talked to. The manager we spoke with next was a very professional guy, and willing to hear a simple suggestion we made for new customers to try their various interesting pizzas, without spending the money for an entire pizza they might not actually like. It's old school, but I could see customers like ourselves paying the price of an entire pizza, to try a slice from each in a buffet format, if only on certain days. When you're looking at a single pizza that's 30-60+$ depending on toppings, and have restaurants in rural and depressed areas, it might help to throw the locals a bone. We recently had a stay-cation in the area, and realized everything in this area has super tourism inflated prices, and that it was 20x cheaper to drive to where we live, less than an hour south, for prices from pizza from brickyard to just about everything from groceries to...
