I came here for the first time after seeing Sunsational Farms listed several times on the best of the best Lake County, for everything from ice cream to gift shops. I absolutely love the big orange out front! I got the Pistachio ice cream, and cut some sunflowers as well. I saw the bee keeper out with the bees, the girls working are very nice and helpful, and I love all of the citrus decor. Even an orange table! The entire place (bathrooms included) is kept very clean, and there is hand sanitizer everywhere. The ice cream was delicious and reasonably-priced; I honestly can't wait to try other flavors, which I was informed changes weekly. The sunflowers are very pretty, and I'm also including a picture of the ones I cut and brought home. The sunflowers are only $1.00 a piece, and they even provide you with garden shears to cut them with. The breeze was amazing as a storm was coming in. Read moreExtremely pleasant place to visit. To start, the staff is so pleasant. The girls had great recommendations for ice cream (go with the OJ float for a satisfying and refreshing treat)
They sell fresh squeezed orange juice!!!!
Lots of varieties of honey from many local apparel which is awesome.
The market had all local florida sourced goods such as homemade soaps, jams, jelly, honey, salad dressings and wines. We picked up 2 bottles of wine to try based on their recommendations for our taste preference. They were knowledgeable on what they carried.
The kids enjoyed the play area in the back and the covered porch was awesome to sit and watch them play while in a rocking chair in the shade.
They were picking and packing oranges in the back and my husband and I enjoyed chatting with the farmer. They were so nice to take time out to talk.
Definitely worth visiting and we will...
Read moreSensational Farms is a hidden gem in Umatilla! I visit frequently with my kids, and it’s always such a wholesome, refreshing experience. They offer incredible fresh produce, quality meats, and some of the best healthy drinks I’ve ever found locally. The staff is always kind, helpful, and polite—I’ve never had a single bad experience here.
Their garden area is absolutely beautiful, and there’s always something fun going on, especially during the holidays. It’s a perfect family day trip if you’re looking for something outdoorsy, local, and good for the soul. ✨
