Cajun Cafe — Restaurant in Eutaw

What can I say? This is the best restaurant in town, hands down! First, let me say I’ve eaten here a few times for lunch and it was good! Moreover, my son graduated 🎓 from Greene County High School Thursday May 18, 2023 and I had his celebration dinner afterwards here at Cajun Cafe outside in the eating area. WOW! From the waitress who was exceptionally AMAZING 🤩 , to the owners, he and his wife who are just simply, beautifully welcoming and always so kind with smiles on their faces were PHENOMENAL! My whole entire family and I loved, loved, loved the food! It was DELICIOUS 😋 ! Everything was hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection! The shrimp and grits was a 10/10, the catfish and fries 10/10, the cheeseburger and fries 10/10, the wings and the drinks 10/10!!!!! If there was such a thing as 10 stars ⭐️ then CAJUN CAFE would be a 10 out of 10!!! Food is probably really good but I'm disappointed in our overall experience! Driving across the country is not for the weak and definitely not with a baby. So we decided to stop here for our only meal we are eating out for dinner today during our 27+ hour drive. I was told by the waitress that she would need to ask the chef "because she doesn't like arguing with him"....I requested just a burger patty plain and no Cajun on the fries for my 11 month old baby, completely understandable for a baby that age. Them when I asked for the same Cajun alfredo they use for their 2 different seafood dishes for the chicken alfredo, she couldn't do that because it's listed as just regular alfredo for the chicken. Wanted to eat here as local friends said it was great..they knew the owner and had told us the mother had retired and passed it down. Our food came out in bits and pieces and I do believe the waitress just forgot half the order .the Caesar salad had no dressing...I was asked if I wanted dressing...it's a Caesar salad...it's named for the dressing..we were one of 2 tables in the restaurant...no music...atmosphere was dead..your a Cajun restaurant play some Louisiana something ..food wasn't bad.. the red beans were very salty...and we had to ask for spoons to eat the gumbo and red beans and rice..but the whole experience was just wrong...maybe mom shouldn't...
