Hardee's — Restaurant in Eutaw

Stopped at 24 hour Hardee’s at 11pm during a road trip, stomach growling like a feral cat. But alas, they couldn’t take my order because of shift change. Apparently, shift change at Hardee’s is more complex than I realized.

I asked, “Does it really take an hour to swap aprons in a fast-food joint? What are y’all even meeting about—burger philosophy?” They assured me it would “probably” be 11:15. (Key word: probably.)

I begged for a simple ham and cheese sandwich—just some bread, meat, and melted goodness to fuel my journey—but nope, registers were already “pulled.” New shift should be here “any minute,” but my hunger and I didn’t have the patience to sit, had to get going.

This place is an absolute joke. We placed our order then the cashier (Ashley) said she had to go find the cook. She went outside for several minutes and came back in alone. I asked if she found them and I was told no. When she came in she answered the drive thru and started filling that order. Another employee came in and asked if our order was taken. We said yes and he walked away. I need to also mention there were two employees in the back just standing around. The second employee walked by and I asked what we were waiting for he proceeded to asked Ashley. After they finally got our food they shorted us an order of potato rounds. Ashley said we only ordered one, my husband told her we ordered two. The second employee said he could get us another one but we had to pay for it. My husband pulled out the receipt and had to prove he ordered two. You need to get something done...

Trouble Trouble service! Nothing was professional about the staff. Orders were all messed up! Nobody had hair nets on but everyone had long hair. The manager is digging all in her fake hair and touching everything! She's on the phone loud with ear buds in trying to talk to customers at the same time.The soda machine is messed up so your sodas all taste funny so some settled for water. All the food was put together sloppy without a care! We just came from Texas and Louisiana were the service we received from restaurants and fast food was amazing,Then we get here... Alabama We spent a lot of money just to get bad service and food! Alabama, you guys need more Whataburgers and In and Out.
