KC's Marina Pointe — Restaurant in Evansville

OMG, this place is fantastic! Live music, low cover charge, strong drinks, great food! Three ppl went, 2 had 3 mixed drinks, one had 5 beers. 2 ppl ate dinner. All told, including cover charge, was around $75. Saw Pandora's Box, an Aerosmith cover band and they were terrific. The place is gorgeous on the riverfront at night. No mosquitos (in July). This place is set up right for a big crowd of ppl to party! I will definitely go back! Going back on the 22nd to see a Bon Jovi cover band....they also have corn hole, darts, acoustic music days...check out Fb/news4u. 4 visits. Horrible every time. 1st visit. Raw chicken wings and when we showed bartender he just said sorry!!! Really! We ate 1 1/2 and u dont ask customer to make another. Wow. 2nd time- horrible bloody mary. 3rd time- rude zero customer service of a bartender. 4th and last- 4th of July. Had to pay $5/person. Security on 4 wheeler was stalking ppl stopping on side where they dont even own to get $5/person out of them. Kitchen was closed. We came starving and it took 30 mins for a waitress to finally come around and tell us that. The only thing going for this place is the location and that wont last long since tiki is way...

I used to love going there. One of the bouncers screams in my ear on Friday night stating if I pass this line on the ground one more time i’m out of here, and that he’s “not going to tell me again”. No one EVER told me I can’t pass “this line”. There is NO sign. There is NOTHING to state you cannot step over this imaginary line at this bar. (He’s talking about a line in the concrete, no indication of it not being able to be crossed by patrons). I was so taken aback I didn’t even know what to say.
