This is only one of a few places open during the “off season” summer. We took a one night trip and this was our first choice for dinner. We went in, it wasn’t busy at all. Only a handful of patrons. We sat at the bar and the bartender was quick with menus and let us know what foods they were out of and what time the kitchen closed. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu. The prices were quite high and this trip was a budget trip so we decided to finish our drinks and move on. Meals were over $20/portions drinks weren’t bad. The bartender did talk to us about the future activities they planned for the restaurant.

Beers at this place are way expensive. A plastic cup of an average Florida IPA was 8 bucks; 7 for a bottle of another that was below average. That is plus tax. An openly and blatantly racist man was walking up and down the bar within clear earshot of the employees. It almost seemed like he was familiar to the business. The food next door was also quite expensive. Didnt buy any. Definitely a tourist trap. Bartenders were very nice.

Great stop as you skid down the tip of FLA. Awesome, super friendly staff behind the bar, and a fun country band on the day we hit it. It's an outdoor tiki bar setup with a definite south Florida flair. Food comes from the attached Diving Pelican (if you need AC go in there). Only 4 star food because they were out of gator bites lol! Menu is nice with classics and some fun spins like Grouper Reuben sandwich.
