Star's BBQ — Restaurant in Evergreen

I called Star's about a large catering order for guests who were coming in from out of town for my Mother's home going celebration (funeral). I am not from Evergreen, however, my cousin mentioned them to me as a potential option. I called on Jan. 20th, and spoke with an enthusiastic eemployee for food for Jan. 21st! I ordered food for about 50 people, however, when it was delivered, it was enough for 70 or more. They delivered the foos to the mansion where we were gathering, and all of the guests were extremely pleased with the quality and flavor of the food. I ordered smoked chicken, chopped pork, lemon pepper wings, mild wings, traditional wings, potato salad, baked beans, chef salad, lemon cake, strawberry cake, sweet tea, lemonade, and the "fatty watty" punch; everything was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS!! O M G!!!!! Y'all got some good BBQ! I came by about a month ago. I ordered a chopped BBQ sandwich and baked beans. My husband got a rib sandwich. We were not disappointed! As a matter of fact, my husband gave me one of his ribs, and I almost turned around for some more. The meat is still on the bone but slides right off when you bite it (Pitmaster Skills!). My husband, mother in law, father in law, and I all came here on our way home from the beach a few months ago. Walking in you can tell just how much this family loved Star and continue to run this business in her honor. My mother in law and husband both got chicken and absolutely loved it.
