Sweet P’s & More, LLC — Restaurant in Evergreen

My husband and I stopped in Evergreen before continuing with the rest of our trip and checked for "restaurants near me". Sweet P's was the first choice for us and it was the best decision! Upon entering you are greeted warmly, like family, and every single person there took the time to smile and say hello. The food is amazing! If you grew up on or just love that southern down home cooking, trust me, you will NOT be disappointed; a lot of comfort food restaurants don't quite hit the mark but Sweet P's does it right. My grandson, Braxton and I, were traveling and stopped in because we wanted something other than fast food.from the time we walked in, it was like we were part of their family. The food was amazing. We arrived 45 minutes before closing time, they did not rush us or behave like they wanted to leave. Actually just the opposite, they played with my grandson and he didn't want to leave. Definitely if you are in the area, stop in. The food and service are AMAZING!. Special thanks to Mrs Bell for giving my grandson a small container of macaroni and cheese for the road. See...

Just a couple of minutes off the highway, definitely better than hitting any of the fast food stuff. home cooked meal, excellent fried chicken and seriously the best peas/beans combo I’ve ever eaten! Chef said the secret is in the beans. ;-)

Update on Feb 16: Second visit. I don’t know what “dry Lima beans” are but I could just eat them as my entire meal. Wow! Also they are so nice to let me mix and match a piece of friend chicken and a piece of baked chicken. Both outstanding. Love this place. Pictures (Lima beans & chicken) are...
