I am simply blown away!! This is Maybee's best kept secret!! The food is divine with portions big enough to feed an army! I am a sucker for blueberry pancakes so I placed a take out order for a half order of these and WOW! These pancakes filled the entire take out container and these pancakes were at least a 1/4" thick. I have never seen pancakes so thick in my life! I knew I was in for a special treat when I could smell the wonderful blueberries as I drove home! My husband ordered a half order of the biscuits and gravy and this could easily feed 3 people. My husband bragged about them so I had to have a taste. So good! Tastes just like my Aunt Tood's homemade biscuits when I would visit her in Knoxville!! I really love the warm atmosphere. I just happened to find this hidden gem one morning while I was on my way to work and starving! Such a cute little drive. Just love them 100% Made me miss living in a small town where the community was close. Definitely my new favorite. We had a really good experience. Charlene’s is your quintessential, small (SMALL) town diner. Prepare to sit and sip your coffee, read a book or the newspaper, color with your kids, and just enjoy your time there. The waitress is always timely and good at keeping you topped off and taken care of. Getting your food is not as fast as bigger and more well known diners, but that’s because you’ve got a one-woman show in the back cooking everything. And boy does she do a fantastic job!
