C'mon whiners. Folks just want something to complain about nowadays, and even though they can't spell or use correct grammar, they have the need to feel important because one thing out of 100 didn't suit THEIR interests. Want to bet they'd not get off their couch and spew their ugly comments to the server's face? OK, I'm done now. I suppose I'm a seasoned traveler, having spent the past 40+ years on the road in sales, eating in every kind of restaurant you can imagine. This little gem of a restaurant started out as a simple metal building with open spaces, sparsely, but, tastefully decorated, feeling like it might not have a long life. I've seen that happen too many times. But, do we really go to a restaurant because it's well decorated? With food prices so high now, we should all use our dollars and "sense" wisely, and this restaurant fits that bill perfectly. If you want to see staff busting their tails to feed customers, come here. If you're looking for perfectly cooked-to-order breakfast, here's your spot. If you're going to drive more than a quarter-mile to eat here, since you obviously have a phone as you're reading this review, do yourself a favor and check their business hours rather than pitch a fit because they're not open when YOU'RE ready. It's a family business in a tough economy with a severe lack of potential new employees who might actually want to work for a living, so cut 'em some slack if their hours, prices, decor, chair color, whatever, don't fit your fancy. My bud and I had breakfast here on a very busy Friday morning, and our bacon and eggs came out fast and HOT, our coffee cups never went dry, and let me tell you about Riley. I've never seen this young lady before, but she needs to travel around teaching servers how to treat patrons. She's a gem!! Constant smile, pays complete attention to the order, brings it out in a snap. 😋 *follow-up after another visit * Today's experience was perfect-er than the last. Rockstar Kellie was our server, hostess, friend, merchant of kindness. Food was better than perfect (breakfast gravy is as good or better than mom's. Sorry mom). We left full, happy, feeling like we'd been treated like honored guests. As usual, Riley was all over the room, tending attentively to customers' needs, sharing her contagious smile with all those fortunate enough to meet her.*updated update 10/20/23 How could it get even better when it was dang near perfect before? Add Jamie to the experience. An obvious veteran in foodservice at her young age, she made a lasting impression on me and my bud. A...
Read more2nd time here, came in for breakfast and was told they stopped serving;waitress offered to check with kitchen, came back said there were 4 minutes for us to order breakfast. Lunch isn't served until 11 and I didn't really want to wait 20 minutes for lunch to be served. We went ahead and ordered from breakfast menu, got an omelet and French toast. Omelet was fine, but French toast was burnt. Tried eating it, but ending up telling waitress who offered to check with kitchen on what they could do. Told us they could make a lunch dish in replacement so we went ahead and accepted. Cheeseburger w/fries came out hot, no complaints. Check came, partner didn't agree with pricing and went to talk with the manager. After paying, manager made an unnecessary snarky comment towards my partner about our experience, saying we should've just gone up the road to Sunrise. We wouldn't have ordered breakfast in the first place if the staff didn't offer and instead said since it was too close to menu change, we'd be better off ordering ahead from...
Read moreCr-Ose Café is a delightful spot that pleasantly surprised me from the very first visit. I came here by chance through a friend’s recommendation, and it turned out to be an excellent discovery. The café has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with good food and conversation.
The menu offers a great variety of dishes, and everything we tried was delicious. What impressed me most was their potato dish—it was perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with just the right seasoning to make it incredibly tasty. It’s the kind of comfort food that keeps you coming back for more.
Service was friendly and efficient, adding to the positive experience. The staff made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
Overall, Cr-Ose Café combines flavorful food, a warm setting, and excellent hospitality. I’m so glad I was introduced to this place, and I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a café that serves both quality meals and a...
