Parker's Ice Creams — Restaurant in Fair Oaks Ranch

We've tried many ice creams in the Boerne/Fair Oaks area and Parkers Ice Cream is definitely a favorite. Their ice cream is actually creamy and tastes homemade. We've enjoyed most of their flavors. My issue is with their staff. I've gone early in the day and at night but their staff always seems to have a chip on their shoulder. Tonight (02/22/23) was the worst... Parker's closes at 9pm. We arrived at 8:50pm but we knew what we wanted. The curly haired man behind the counter was clearly not happy that we showed up. He mumbled everything and never made eye contact. He seemed obviously annoyed but we we're out by 8:53pm. As we were leaving, a taller gentleman (who was waiting outside in his car) comes in the store to shut off the "open" sign. Another vehicle had pulled up as the sign was shut off so it seems Parkers lost business because of these employees. These gentlemen we're basically hoping to close up shop 10minutes early. My father runs a small business like Parkers so to this behavior breaks my heart. I hope the owner can correct the behavior of their staff because the ice cream is delicious but it doesn't matter what time of day I go, the staff is...

I visited Parker's one day at 13:33 in the afternoon and their sign said they were supposed to open at 13:00!!! I called later in the day to ascertain if they were open and the manager apologized for the inconvenience and informed me that she had a no show employee that day and she just couldn't make it in to open due to other commitments!!! When I arrived at the location I mentioned that I was the person who had just called to see if they were open and then she wouldn't let me pay for the best chocolate ice cream I've ever had and I've been all over the world as a US Marine!!! That gesture was above and beyond and I would definitely recommend Parker's to anyone!!! BRAVO... keep doing what you're doing!!!

Parker's Ice Cream is a hidden gem in Fair Oaks Ranch. The ice cream is made fresh daily with all-natural ingredients, and the flavors are simply amazing. I especially love the Cookie Monster flavor, which is made with real Oreos and chocolate chips.

The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is perfect for families. There's a large patio area with plenty of seating, and the views of the surrounding hills are beautiful.

Parker's Ice Cream is also a veteran-owned business, which I really appreciate. I'm always happy to support local businesses that are owned by our community leaders.
