Golden Town — Restaurant in Fairfax

The first time I came I came here, I got dumplings and the dumplings weren’t bad but the sauce was very watery and didn’t stick to the dumplings at all. Not a big deal i thought, maybe they just have a few not so great things on their menu. So today I tried the Honey chicken combination platter. I never complain at restaurants but this was… something else. I couldn’t swallow it. I knew when i opened the box that something was off. I had to spit it out, it tasted spoiled and sour. I brought it back and asked for something else and she said “no people tell me all the time the chicken is really good. I made sure you want honey chicken you said yes this is honey chicken.” I told her yes I understand this is honey chicken but something is wrong with it I think it might be spoiled. Asked her again if I could please just have something else I can’t eat that. No refund, no replacement. Please do not waste your money on the honey chicken. Also note that the cashier will pretend not to understand what you’re saying when you ask...

So the price is going to look expensive until you get your food and then you will be more than pleased with all of it. The food was awesome and the amount of food is even better. The Shrimp egg foo young was delicious and so was the chicken wings. I have been here several times since my first review!! All I can say is the food gets better and better. I have not order nothing I didn't enjoy. I drive from Olar, to get their food. They are the best Chinese food...
